We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice, manipulation, and ungodly threats. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice, righteousness, and truth, and we ask that You intervene in this matter according to Your perfect will. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* Lord, we pray that You would plead this case and bring justice to those who are being oppressed.
We rebuke the spirit of intimidation, blackmail, and dishonesty that is at work here. In the name of Jesus, we command these ungodly tactics to cease. The landlord, owner, or legal contact person must not be allowed to continue in this wickedness. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* We trust that You, Lord, will repay every wrong and bring every hidden thing into the light. We pray that those who have been dishonest—whether the electricians or those pressuring them—would be exposed and held accountable for their actions.
We also pray for wisdom and protection over this company and those involved. James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Father, grant them the wisdom to navigate this situation with integrity and discernment. Protect them from further harm, both physically and spiritually, and provide them with the compensation they are rightfully owed. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in faith that You will turn this situation around for Your glory.
Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of those who are acting in hardness and greed. Ezekiel 36:26 says, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* We pray that You would replace their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh, that they may repent of their wickedness and do what is right. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we trust that You will deal with them in Your perfect justice.
We also lift up the electrical hazards in the apartment. Father, we pray that You would expose the truth about the condition of the property and compel those responsible to make the necessary repairs. Proverbs 11:1 says, *"A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but accurate weights are his delight."* Lord, let truth and righteousness prevail in this matter. Protect the tenants from harm and hold the landlord accountable for their negligence.
Finally, we declare that this company will not be destroyed by the schemes of the enemy. Psalm 37:17 says, *"For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous."* We stand on this promise, believing that You will uphold and sustain them through this trial. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in this situation.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
