We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice, manipulation, and threats. Father God, You are the righteous Judge who sees all and knows the truth. We ask that You intervene in this matter, exposing any deceit and bringing Your justice to light. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." Lord, we pray that You would plead this case and bring an end to the oppression being faced.
We rebuke the spirit of intimidation and fear that has been used to manipulate and control. In 2 Timothy 1:7, Your Word declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that those who have been threatened would stand firm in Your strength, knowing that You are their defender. We also rebuke the dishonesty in the inspection reports and ask that You would bring truth to the forefront. Proverbs 12:22 says, "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who do the truth are his delight." Father, we ask that You would turn the hearts of those involved toward honesty and integrity.
We pray specifically for the landlord, owner, or legal contact person who has been making unreasonable demands and withholding rightful compensation. Lord, soften their hearts and convict them of their wrongdoing. In Romans 12:19, we are reminded, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We trust that You will repay according to Your justice, and we ask that You would turn their hearts toward repentance and restitution.
We also lift up the electricians who have been frightened into providing dishonest reports. Father, grant them courage to stand for truth, even in the face of pressure. Your Word says in Proverbs 29:25, "The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the Lord is kept safe." We pray that they would find their safety and strength in You, and that they would act with integrity.
Lord, we ask that You would provide the compensation that is owed and that repairs would be carried out as they should be. We trust in Your provision and Your timing. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You will meet every need according to Your will.
Father, we pray for wisdom and guidance for those who are being oppressed. Grant them discernment to know how to proceed and the courage to stand firm in their rights. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We ask for Your wisdom to be poured out abundantly in this situation.
We also pray for protection over this company and all those involved. Psalm 91:9-11 declares, "Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this protection over them, asking that You would send Your angels to guard and guide them.
Finally, Lord, we ask that Your name would be glorified through this situation. May Your justice prevail, and may those involved come to know You as their Lord and Savior. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation. Amen.
