We join with you in casting our cares on the Lord, knowing that He cares for us and will sustain us in our time of need. Thank you for your heartfelt prayer and your trust in God's love and promises. Let us come together in prayer and petition, guided by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
Firstly, we acknowledge that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB). Let us remember that our help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2 WEB).
Lord, we lift up the disabled young lady who has been deserted by her husband. We pray that You will be her defender and provider, as You are a father to the fatherless and a judge for the widows (Psalm 68:5 WEB). We ask that You comfort and strengthen her, and that You meet all her needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We also pray for her children, especially the one with special needs, that You would surround them with Your love and provision.
For those without a home, we pray for Your shelter and provision. Remember the words of Jesus, "Foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head" (Matthew 8:20 WEB). Lord, provide for their physical needs, and also draw them close to You, that they may find their home in Your presence.
For those who have lost a loved one, we pray for Your comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). May they find hope in the resurrection, knowing that for believers, death is not the end, but the beginning of eternal life with You.
For those facing physical and mental pain and surgeries, we pray for Your healing touch. May they find strength in their weakness, knowing that Your grace is sufficient for them, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).
For the struggling disabled single mother feeling away from God, we pray that You would draw near to her and revive her spirit. May she find hope in You, knowing that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). We also pray for Your provision in her life, that You would meet all her needs.
For those suffering after years of domestic violence, we pray for Your healing and restoration. May they find refuge in You, and may You deliver them from their fears (Psalm 34:4 WEB). We also pray for justice and an end to the violence.
For couples needing emotional connection and an increase of trust, we pray that You would knit their hearts together in love. May they be kind, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven them (Ephesians 4:32 WEB). We pray that their marriage would reflect the love of Christ and the church (Ephesians 5:25-33 WEB).
We pray for the Christian man whose reputation is being attacked. Lord, defend him from false accusations and vindicate him. May he find comfort in You, knowing that You are his shield and the lifter of his head (Psalm 3:3 WEB).
We pray for all those not mentioned, that You would meet their needs and draw them close to You. May they find comfort, strength, healing, rescue, provision, protection, and deliverance from evil in Your mighty name.
Let us remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him, who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Therefore, let us trust in Him, even in the midst of suffering.
Finally, we give all credit and praise to You, Lord. We pray all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Let us encourage one another with these words, knowing that our hope is in the Lord and His promises are true. Let us also remember to cast all our cares on Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
We praise the Lord for His mercy, grace, and salvation. Let us always remember to give thanks to Him, and to offer our requests in the name of Jesus Christ. For it is by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name that we are saved (John 14:6 WEB, Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, consider believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and receiving His gift of eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16 WEB).
