We lift our hearts in unity, giving thanks to the Father for the work of the Holy Spirit in drawing hearts to Jesus Christ. Your Word declares, "So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17 WEB). We rejoice in the divine appointments You orchestrate, whether in homes, marketplaces, prisons, or churches, where Your gospel is proclaimed. Father, we ask that You would indeed give us what to say and how to say it, just as Jesus spoke only what the Father commanded (John 12:49). Let Your words be like seeds planted in fertile soil, watered by Your Spirit, and guarded by Your angels (Psalm 91:11-12).
We stand on the truth that Your arm is not too short to save (Isaiah 59:1). Remind every soul who has heard the gospel, especially those who heard it recently, of their need for the Savior. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). We proclaim the finished work of the cross: Jesus, the sinless Lamb of God (John 1:29), became sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). He bore the curse of sin (Galatians 3:13-14) to reconcile us to You (2 Corinthians 5:19). This is the message of reconciliation we carry as Your ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20).
Holy Spirit, we trust You to complete the work You have begun in every heart (Philippians 1:6). Guard them, and us, from the evil one, who seeks to snatch away the seed of Your Word (Mark 4:15). Bind him and plunder his kingdom, for "no one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man" (Mark 3:27 WEB). Let the seeds of truth take root, grow, and bear fruit in repentance, a turning from sin with godly sorrow and a wholehearted pursuit of obedience (2 Corinthians 7:10). Jesus is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). May every soul who hears hunger for Your Word like newborn babies crave pure spiritual milk (1 Peter 2:2).
We pray for revelation and faith to abound, that eyes would be enlightened to know the hope of Your calling (Ephesians 1:17-18). Protect them from the thief who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Send Your angels to encamp around them (Psalm 91:11), and let them walk in the victory of Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33).
Father, we thank You in advance for the harvest. Even now, we receive it by faith, for Jesus taught that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive (Mark 11:24). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
