Father, we thank You for these who've been praying for grace to be given to evangelists to hove bold love to witness of Jesus Christ in the face of trials and opposition, (1 Thes 2:1-13, Whole Book of Acts, Rev 1:1-22:21, Church History). We thank You for wide doors for effective service being opened despite adversaries, 1 Cor16:9, for divine appointments with housemates, in shopping centers, in cell groups, cell blocks, in churches, street corners, restaurants, with fathers, mothers, stepmothers, children, family, friends, enemies, wherever the Spirit blows, Jn 3:8, Give us what to say and HOW to say it, Jn 12:49.

Your arm is NOT too short that it cannot save, Isa 59:1, Numbers 11:23. Remind ALL that have ever heard, especially recently (and remind us, kindly) of our humanity, sin, the gospel of free grace by the bloody death of Jesus on the cross for our sakes, His death for payment of sin, Rom 5:23, with analogies of bills being paid, therefore nothing owed, it is finished, Jn 19:30, His resurrection, His appearing to many witnesses, His ascension, and sending of The Holy Spirit, Acts 2:32-33, and the correct response of repentance and continued discipleship, Jn 8:31-32.

This Jesus who was sinless BECAME sin for us, 2 Cor 5:21 (was judged to death as The Lamb, Jn 1:29, to break the curse of sin, Gen 2:17, John 11:50-51, Gal 3:13-14) so we could be made the righteousness of God on His behalf, as His ambassadors, 2 Cor 5:20, through the Word of reconciliation He's committed to us, 2 Cor 5:19.

Thank You for those who've heard, we've prayed with and for, and WE trust YOU Holy Spirit to continue to do His work until the day of Christ Jesus, Phil 1:6. Keep them and us all from the evil one, Jn 17:15, who attempts to snatch away the seed of the Word, Mk 4:14-15. May prayers render him as being bound, and having his goods plundered, Mk 3:27, as the late evangelist said, "we plunder hell to populate heaven."

Water the seed of the word and let them grow, provide more chances to share and grant us all full faith and repentance, turning from all sin with grief and hatred of it, wholly endeavoring to new obedience, trusting Jesus who has become for us spiritual and practical wisdom, active and passive righteousness, immediate AND continued sanctification, and initial and final redemption, 1 Cor 1:30. We join with you in this faithful and urgent prayer for all those who have heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, and we thank God for your heart to intercede for them.

We agree that the preaching of the cross, which seems foolish to the world, is indeed the power of God to us who are being saved, for it is written For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God 1 Cor 1:18 and For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes Rom 1:16. We pray with you that righteousness would be revealed from faith to faith as it is written For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith Rom 1:17 and that faith would come as So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ Rom 10:17.

We thank the Father that salvation is truly a gift, for The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Rom 6:23 and For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast Eph 2:8-9. We pray that those who have heard would freely receive this gift by grace through faith, with true repentance and continued discipleship, for If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:31-32.

We join you in asking the Lord of the harvest to water the seed that has been sown. We plant and water, but God gives the growth, for I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase 1 Cor 3:6-7. Apart from Christ we can do nothing, for apart from me you can do nothing John 15:5, and so we give Him all glory for the plan of salvation, for teaching us the message, and for any ability to do anything of real value.

We pray for those hearers that God would grant them spiritual hunger and revelation, that as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby 1 Pet 2:2 and that the Father would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him Eph 1:17.

We also contend with you for their protection. We ask the Father to keep them from the evil one as Jesus prayed I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one John 17:15. We know the enemy comes to snatch away the word, for when they have heard, immediately Satan comes, and takes away the word which has been sown in them Mark 4:15 and The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly John 10:10. We pray that by the power of Christ the strong man would be bound and his goods plundered Mark 3:27, and that the Lord would command His angels to guard them, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Ps 91:11 and that He who is the ministering spirit sent to serve those who will inherit salvation would watch over them Heb 1:14 until salvation is beheld.

We thank God with you for every evangelist and witness who has prayed for bold love in the face of trials and opposition. We pray that a wide door for effective service would continue to be opened even where there are many adversaries 1 Cor 16:9, and for divine appointments in homes, in shopping centers, in cell groups, in churches, on street corners, with family and friends and even enemies, wherever the Spirit blows as The wind blows where it wants to John 3:8. We ask that the Lord would give us what to say and how to say it, for we speak not on our own but as Christ has given us.

We pray the Lord would remind all who have ever heard, and remind us kindly, of our sin and of the bloody death of Jesus on the cross for us, that He who knew no sin Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God 2 Cor 5:21, that He became a curse for us to break the curse Gal 3:13, that He is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world John 1:29, that it is finished John 19:30, that God raised Him and He appeared to many witnesses and was exalted to send the Holy Spirit Acts 2:32-33. We pray they would know they are ambassadors through the word of reconciliation committed to us 2 Cor 5:19-20.

Father, we trust Your arm is not too short to save, for Behold, Yahweh's hand is not shortened, that it can't save Isa 59:1 and Is Yahweh's hand waxed short Num 11:23. We trust You to complete the work You have begun, being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ Phil 1:6.

We pray all of this in advance with thanksgiving, believing we have received, for All things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24. We ask You to grant full faith and repentance, a turning from all sin with godly grief and hatred of it, and a wholly endeavoring after new obedience, trusting Jesus who has become for us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption 1 Cor 1:30. We ask this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were moved by your faithful intercession for those who have heard the good news recently. Your love for them and desire to see the seed take root and grow is beautiful, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer for them.

We hear your longing for revelation and genuine hunger, for protection from the enemy who would snatch the word away, and for God himself to bring the growth only he can give. It encourages us that you are trusting him to do that work over time. Spiritual growth is rarely instant or even steady. It is often slow and quiet, with ups and downs, and it looks a little different for each person as God works in their life. Our part is to keep planting and watering faithfully through prayer and sharing, and to rest in the truth that he is the one who brings life and keeps his own.

One simple way to stay encouraged as you carry these people before the Lord is to keep their names before you in prayer and remain rooted yourself in time with God and fellowship with other believers. That steady abiding helps us keep praying with hope without growing weary.

Father, we thank you for each person who has heard your gospel. We ask you to guard them from the evil one, deepen their hunger for you, and kindly draw them to yourself day by day. We join our hearts with yours in thanksgiving to God for this holy burden for souls who have heard the gospel of Christ. It is a good and necessary prayer that you have poured out, and we take it up with you before the throne of grace.

We pray with you that the foolishness of preaching the Cross, which is the wisdom and power of God to them that are saved, may be made effectual. That faith which comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Faith saves as the mouth saves from hunger, not as a meritorious cause, but as that which receives Christ Himself. We ask the Lord to reveal His righteousness from faith to faith, to grant that spiritual hunger as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word, and to give wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. One plants and another waters, but God gives the growth, and He alone can make the seed take root and spring up to eternal life. We pray that He who has begun a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

We give thanks also for those who have prayed for grace to be given to evangelists to have bold love to witness for Jesus Christ in the face of trial and opposition. Soul saving is our one business, and every other thing should be made subservient to it. We ask the Lord to open wide doors for effective service though there be many adversaries, and to grant divine appointments wheresoever the Spirit blows, whether with housemates, in shopping centers, in cell groups, in churches, on street corners, in homes, with fathers and mothers and children, with family and friends and even enemies. May the Lord give His servants both what to say and how to say it, holding fast the name of Jesus as the one saving name, for there is but one Lord, one faith, one way to eternal glory, and that through His blood alone.

We pray for keeping from the evil one who comes to snatch away the seed sown in the heart and who seeks to steal and kill and destroy. We ask that the strong man may be bound and his goods spoiled, that the word may not be stolen as soon as it is sown. The Lord knows how to keep His people in all their ways. He gives His angels charge over His saints to keep them, and this angelic protection is afforded to us as we walk in the appointed ways, following step by step in the footprints of the Lord Jesus in childlike trust and obedience, not turning aside through willfulness. What a sweet thought that each one is personally kept, and that from spiritual evils in the unseen world there are watchers who guard those who shall be heirs of salvation.

We remember with you that the arm of the Lord is not shortened that it cannot save. May He remind all who have heard, and remind us kindly, of our sin and of the free grace provided in the bloody death of Jesus upon the cross for our sakes, where He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. There the curse was broken, the debt was paid, and the Saviour cried, It is finished. He was raised for our justification, seen of many witnesses, ascended on high, and has poured out the Holy Spirit. We pray for true repentance with grief and hatred of sin and a turning to new obedience, and for continued discipleship in His word, trusting Him who is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

Faith does grow, and it must grow, for weak faith though it may bring a blessing is yet an evil to be struggled out of, and growth in faith is necessary for sanctification and for the keeping down of sin. This growth comes only by the power of the Holy Spirit, and it is hindered by little sins and by neglect of gospel ordinances, and helped by diligent use of the means of grace and by conformity to the image of Christ. May love abound with it and zeal be increased in all good works.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus, trusting even now that the Father hears us, to whom be all glory for inventing the plan of salvation and for giving us any ability to do anything of real value apart from Him. Amen.
