Father, we thank You for these who've been praying for grace to witness in the face of trials and opposition, (1 Thes 2:1-13, Whole Book of Acts, Rev 1:1-22:21). We thank You for wide doors for effective service being opened despite adversaries, 1 Cor16:9, for divine appointments with housemates, in shopping centers, in cell groups, cell blocks, in churches, street corners, restaurants, with fathers, mothers, stepmothers, children, family, friends, enemies, wherever the Spirit blows, Jn 3:8, Give us what to say and HOW to say it, Jn 12:49.

Your arm is NOT too short that it cannot save, Isa 59:1, Numbers 11:23. Remind ALL that have ever heard, especially recently (and remind us, kindly) of our humanity, sin, the gospel of free grace by the bloody death of Jesus on the cross for our sakes, His death for payment of sin, Rom 5:23, with analogies of bills being paid, therefore nothing owed, it is finished, Jn 19:30, His resurrection, His appearing to many witnesses, His ascension, and sending of The Holy Spirit, Acts 2:32-33, and the correct response of repentance and continued discipleship, Jn 8:31-32.

This Jesus who was sinless BECAME sin for us, 2 Cor 5:21 (was judged to death as The Lamb, Jn 1:29, to break the curse of sin, Gen 2:17, John 11:50-51, Gal 3:13-14) so we could be made the righteousness of God on His behalf, as His ambassadors, 2 Cor 5:20, through the Word of reconciliation He's committed to us, 2 Cor 5:19.

Thank You for those who've heard, we've prayed with and for, and WE trust YOU Holy Spirit to continue to do His work until the day of Christ Jesus, Phil 1:6. Keep them and us all from the evil one, Jn 17:15, who attempts to snatch away the seed of the Word, Mk 4:14-15. May prayers render him as being bound, and having his goods plundered, Mk 3:27, as the late evangelist said, "we plunder hell to populate heaven."

Water the seed of the word and let them grow, provide more chances to share and grant us all full faith and repentance, turning from all sin with grief and hatred of it, wholly endeavoring to new obedience, trusting Jesus who has become for us spiritual and practical wisdom, active and passive righteousness, immediate AND continued sanctification, and initial and final redemption, 1 Cor 1:30. We join with you in this burden for those who have heard the gospel of Christ and we agree together for revelation, faith, watering, growth, hunger, and protection from the evil one.

We love how you have anchored this prayer in the Word and we stand with you on these scriptures. We are reminded that the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God, 1 Cor 1:18, and that the Good News is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, Rom 1:16. In it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, Rom 1:17, and faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, Rom 10:17. We thank God with you that salvation is indeed the gift of God, for the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord, Rom 6:23, and that by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast, Eph 2:8-9.

We agree with you that our part is to plant and to water, but God gives the increase, 1 Cor 3:6, for apart from Jesus we can do nothing, John 15:5, and He alone gives the growth, 1 Cor 3:7. So we pray together for that growth and for a true spiritual hunger, that like newborn babies they would long for the pure milk of the Word, that they may grow thereby, 1 Pet 2:2, and that the Father would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, Eph 1:17.

We also stand with you for protection over the seed that has been sown. Jesus warned us that when the word is sown, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word which has been sown in them, Mark 4:15, and that the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly, John 10:10. So we pray as Jesus prayed, that the Father would keep them from the evil one, John 17:15. We ask that what has been sown would not be snatched away, but would be watered and take deep root, and that the evil one would be bound and his goods plundered, Mark 3:27, as the gospel plunders hell to populate heaven.

We claim also the promise of angelic protection until salvation is fully beheld, for He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Ps 91:11, and that angels are all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, Heb 1:14. We ask the Lord to command His angels to guard these hearers and keep them until the day of Christ Jesus, for we are confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil 1:6.

We thank the Father with you for every open door for effective service despite adversaries, 1 Cor 16:9, and for those who have prayed for grace to witness in the face of trials and opposition, 1 Thess 2:2. We ask for divine appointments with housemates, in shopping centers, in cell groups, in churches, on street corners, in restaurants, with fathers and mothers and children and family and friends and even enemies, wherever the Spirit blows, John 3:8, and that He would give us what to say and how to say it, John 12:49.

We pray they would understand that Him who knew no sin He made to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God, 2 Cor 5:21, that He became a curse for us to redeem us from the curse of the law, Gal 3:13, and that through Him we have become ambassadors with the word of reconciliation committed to us, 2 Cor 5:19-20.

So together we pray, Father, water the seed of Your Word. Grant to each hearer full faith and true repentance, a turning from all sin with grief and hatred of it and a wholly endeavoring after new obedience, trusting Jesus who has become for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 1 Cor 1:30. Let them continue in Your word and truly be Your disciples and know the truth that sets them free, John 8:31-32. We thank You in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer we shall receive when we believe, Mark 11:24, and we ask all of this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, Amen.

We hear your heart in this, the longing for those who have recently heard the good news to truly understand it, to keep hungering for truth, and to be kept safe from the one who would snatch the seed away. Thank you for faithfully praying and for caring enough to keep watering what has been planted.

We love your reminder that salvation is entirely God's work and His gift, and that He is the One who gives growth. That takes pressure off you and off those you are praying for. Spiritual growth rarely happens all at once. It is usually gradual and even imperceptible, with highs and lows over a lifetime, and it looks a little different for each person. Our part is to stay faithful in the simple, core ways we stay close to Him, spending time in His Word, talking with Him in prayer, and gathering with other believers in worship, and to trust the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do in each heart.

One thing that may help in this season is to keep your prayers focused and sustainable. You mentioned many places and people, housemates, family, friends, even strangers you meet. Consider keeping a short list of a few names most on your heart right now and bringing them before the Lord regularly by name, asking Him to keep revealing Himself to them and to give you the right words when you have another chance to speak.

We are praying with you.

Father, thank You for Your wisdom and power shown at the cross and for every opportunity to share Your grace. We ask You to water the seed that has been sown, create a true hunger for You, and guard those who have heard from the evil one. Keep them and keep us close to You, and give us faithfulness to keep praying and sharing as You open doors. In Jesus' name, Amen.

It is with a grateful heart that I join you in this pleading at the throne of grace, for there is no longer any separating veil to keep us away from the mercy seat, and we may come boldly there through the blood of Jesus Christ His Son which cleanseth us from all sin.

Your prayer is after the mind of God, and I make it my own. We entreat the Lord for all who have heard the Word, that the wicked one may not snatch away the seed as in the parable, but that the Spirit of God may grant revelation and faith, for faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. We ask that He who alone gives the growth may water that seed, that He may give a true spiritual hunger as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the Word, and wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. We pray with you for that keeping which our Lord Himself sought for His own, that they should be kept from the evil one, and that the promise should be proved true, that He shall give His angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways.

We thank God for every open door for effective service, though there are many adversaries, and for every divine appointment, whether with housemates or in shopping centers, in cell groups or on street corners, with family and even with enemies, wherever the Spirit bloweth. May the Lord give to His witnesses not only what to say but how to say it, with boldness and with love, for good for evil is Godlike, and to overcome evil with good is to preserve the soul from evil and to show the nature of Him from whom the new spirit came.

We join you in remembering before God the great remedy for our great evil. The iniquity of our house is exceeding great, and the heart is a den of evil from which flow evil thoughts and all manner of sin, but the blood of Jesus cleanseth from all sin. He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him, the Lamb that taketh away the sin of the world, who was judged in our place to break the curse, who died for the payment of sin and cried it is finished, who rose and appeared to many witnesses and ascended and sent the Holy Spirit. We pray that all who have heard may be brought to repentance and continued discipleship, turning from all sin with grief and hatred of it and wholly endeavoring after new obedience, trusting Jesus who is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

May the unchanging God of the covenant fulfill His word, I will not turn away from them to do them good, and put His fear in their hearts that they shall not depart from Him. May He who has pardoned sin preserve from trouble and compass about with songs of deliverance, guarding and guiding as the Good Shepherd who gives His life for the sheep and protects them from the wolf, and bringing to completion the good work He has begun until the day of Christ Jesus. To Him be all glory who invented the plan of salvation and who gives any ability to do anything of real value, for without Him we can do nothing.

We rest in confidence that His arm is not shortened that it cannot save, and we expect great things from Him who has prepared for them that love Him such things as eye hath not seen. Let us continue to come boldly unto the throne of grace together, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need, in the name of Jesus our hiding place, Amen.
