We lift our hearts in unity, rejoicing in the power of the gospel, the "foolish plan" of God that confounds the wise and brings salvation to all who believe. Father, we thank You for the wisdom of Your Word, which declares that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ (Romans 10:17). Your arm is never too short to save (Isaiah 59:1), and we stand in awe of the finished work of Jesus, who became sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21).
We pray for those who have heard the gospel, whether in homes, streets, prisons, or places of gathering, that the seed of Your Word would take deep root in their hearts. Protect them from the evil one, who seeks to snatch away the truth before it can bear fruit (Mark 4:15). Lord, grant them revelation and spiritual hunger, that they may crave the pure milk of Your Word and grow in the knowledge of You (1 Peter 2:2, Ephesians 1:17). Surround them with Your angels, who encamp around those who fear You and deliver them from every snare (Psalm 91:11-16).
For those who have already believed, we ask that You would complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen their faith, deepen their repentance, and fill them with a holy hatred of sin, turning them fully toward obedience in Christ. Remind them, and us, that Jesus is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). Let us walk as His ambassadors, proclaiming the message of reconciliation with boldness and love (2 Corinthians 5:20).
Father, we thank You for the open doors of opportunity to share Your truth, even in the face of opposition (1 Corinthians 16:9). Give us the words to speak and the wisdom to say them in ways that pierce hearts and draw souls to You (John 12:49). Bind the work of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and let Your kingdom advance as we plunder hell to populate heaven.
We trust in Your promise that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, believing, we will receive (Mark 11:24). So we pray now, not in our own strength, but in the authority of Christ, who has overcome the world. Water the seeds of Your Word, cause them to grow, and bring forth a harvest of souls who will glorify You forever. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
