We lift our hearts together in prayer for the lost around the world, asking the Lord to draw them to Himself with cords of love. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few—so we cry out to the Lord of the harvest to send workers into His fields, that many may hear the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved—only the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12).
We rebuke the spirit of deception that blinds the minds of unbelievers, that they may see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). We pray for open doors for the Word to be preached, for boldness in those who share their faith, and for receptive hearts among those who hear. The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). So we stand in the gap, interceding for souls to be saved, for nations to turn to Him, and for the gospel to advance without hindrance.
Father, we ask You to soften hardened hearts, break chains of idolatry, and shatter strongholds of unbelief. Raise up men and women who will proclaim Your truth with courage, and let Your Spirit move mightily in every corner of the earth. May the lost find hope in Christ, the lonely find family in Your church, and the broken find healing in Your love. We declare that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Your glory, as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).
We also pray for protection over missionaries, evangelists, and believers who risk their lives to share the gospel. Strengthen them, provide for them, and let Your presence go before them. May Your Word not return void but accomplish the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11).
Lord, we long for the day when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11). Until then, we will not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we don’t give up (Galatians 6:9). Use us as vessels of Your love and truth, that many may come to know You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
