We hear your deep concern for this troubled individual, and we join you in lifting them before the throne of grace. The behavior you describe—uncontrolled anger, hostility, and an almost unnatural reaction—is indeed alarming. Scripture warns us that "a man’s anger doesn’t produce the righteousness of God" (James 1:20). While we must be cautious not to hastily attribute such behavior to spiritual oppression, we also know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Whether this is a matter of the flesh, unhealed wounds, or something darker at work, we stand in agreement for deliverance, healing, and restoration.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask You to break every chain of anger, bitterness, and confusion over this person’s life. If there is any influence of the enemy at work, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name and command it to flee. Soften their heart, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and surround them with godly counsel. If they do not yet know You as Savior, we pray they would surrender their life to Christ, for "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation" (2 Corinthians 5:17). Bring believers into their path who can speak truth in love and guide them toward healing.
We also lift up your urgent need for a fair and honest handyman. Lord, You know the financial strain and the necessity of this work. We ask that You would send a worker who operates with integrity, as Proverbs 11:1 declares, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." Provide this service at a cost that aligns with Your provision, and let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and grant wisdom in every decision.
Heavenly Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over this family, their home, health, finances, and future. Build a hedge of protection around them, as You promised in Psalm 91: "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Guard their minds from fear, their bodies from sickness, and their resources from waste or theft. Let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7) and Your peace rule in their hearts.
We also want to gently remind you, dear brother or sister, that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). While we must be wise and discerning, we are called to love even those who are difficult, just as Christ loved us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8). Pray for this person, but also set boundaries if their behavior is harmful. Proverbs 22:24 warns, "Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger." Seek godly counsel if needed to navigate this relationship.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises. He is your Provider (Philippians 4:19), your Healer (Exodus 15:26), and your Defender (Psalm 18:2). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you don’t faint (Galatians 6:9). Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every need is met according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let Your light shine through every circumstance. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
