This morning's prayer...

“I am depending on you for this impossible situation, Lord!” I have loved You ever since I was a child. You have sheltered me and guided my steps. I have given my life totally and completely to You God. You have redeemed me through the death and glorious resurrection of Christ Jesus Your Son. I want the fulfillment of serving You in a ministry like when I worked at church. You promised that when You bring me my sweetheart that You have that for us. God, almost 24 years ago You promised me a wife. You burned that little girls eyes into the depths of my soul with Your love that I saw in them. You spoke into my heart and told me that I would marry her one day. Years later God, You told me that my sweetheart, her dad, my mom, and I would be a family. I didn't believe You because I believed that my parents loved each other and nothing would ever happen to my dad. You told me three times because I argued out of that disbelief. Now mama and I are alone God, everyone has rejected or abandoned us. God, I have trusted You and believed in You fully and completely through bullying and rejection all through school, through struggling and finally overcoming a learning disability, through not understanding why You would put me in a job that has no purpose or lasting meaning, through financial hardships, failing health, a broken home and rejection of family, God; through all of those things I have trusted You and remained faithful to Your guidance and leading. You are the only Father that I have ever known, I've never had a father on this earth. I have trusted in patience, peace, and contentment in Your promises to me and they have been my dreams and the desires of my heart ever since You made that first promise. I lived in that peace and contentment fully trusting You until without warning I found myself in the depths of this dark pit of urgency and desperation almost 2 years ago. I have cried and I have prayed to You God, You are everything to me and all that I have. Nothing is impossible for You God! Hear my cries, hear my prayers! Turn my sorrow into joy and happiness, fulfill Your promises to me, fulfill Your promise to give me the desires of my heart and to give me peace and joy. Please God, I cry out to you in the presence of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Answer my prayers, have mercy on my soul my Lord! Your son needs Your love, Your healing, restoration, and blessings. I love You Father and I ask these things in the name of Christ Jesus my Savior and King. AMEN

Thank you everyone for your prayers. Please continue praying until I am able to post a praise report. Please continue lifting me up for strength against the evil one and his arrows of doubt, depression, and despair. 

I am choosing to be thankful. I thank God for His faithfulness in provision for so many other areas in my life like my overall health, a stable job, seeing to it that I can keep a roof over mine and my mom's heads and making sure that we're provided for, etc. I choose to praise Him and give Him thanks for the promises He has made me even though He hasn't fulfilled them yet. I give God thanks and praise for sending His pure and sinless Son to this earth to experience this life in the lowly form of a human and all of our pain, suffering, etc, and to die on the cross to save us. And most of all, I thank the Sovereign Triune God for raising Jesus, His Son from the dead; our Christ, Messiah, Savior, Redeemer and for sending His Holy Spirit to live within us if we just accept Him and ask Him into our lives.  

I'm choosing today to believe in the fulfillment of those promises. I will stand fast on this Rock who is Christ Jesus on which I stand and who's Holy Spirit lives within me. No matter the longing, no matter the loneliness, no matter the pain, Jesus knows it all. Though the waves roar and crash all around me I refuse to be moved. God is my creator and my Father and He has guided my life. He has made me and molded me into the man that I am. I will love the one that He brings me like everyday is our last. I believe that God had both of our lives planned in His book before time began. I believe that even now our hearts beat as one. I choose to stand strong and believe that on any day and at any moment that God will bring her into my life, that He will make good on His promises to me, and that we will have a calling and a ministry together that will bring God the glory and honor and praise that's due His Holy Name. I will love her and cherish her like no other gift that God has given me from the time we meet until either Christ comes for us or until we're separated by an earthly death.  

Please brothers and sisters continue to pray. Pray that God will bring me these gifts that He promised. I know and understand that with these blessings comes a great responsibility but, with God's help and a laser focus on Him I will be the man that He has made me to be. Please pray with me until we can lift up praises to Him for the answers to these prayers...

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
