This Is The Day That The Lord Has Made! :)

A former pastor of ours once said if anyone should take the name of the Lord Our God in vain we are to say Blessed Be HIs Name! I've never forgotten that! Anyhow just a little bit about myself. I will be married to my husband 28 years on Oct.12th 2012. I believe in the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman! My husband and I consider ourselves to be conservatives only voting for those that share the same moral and values that we have! We are the parents of a 26 year old son. On Jan. 24th 2010 we became pround grandparents for the very 1st time to our beautiful little granddaughter.
My husband is a mechanic and I work with kids. We both admire the Amish often staying in and and around the Bird-In-Hand, Pa area for a weekend away. Luckily for us we only live 30 to 45 minutes away from the tourist area so it makes it a short but worth while trip to just get away and enjoy God's beautiful creation. If you ever have the chance to come to the Lancaster area you will have to check out the area for a renewed and refreshed sense of well being!
We have attended different churches in the past but we are very content on where we are going now. We love the fact that our church (Brenthren In Christ) has grown so much in the past 6 years. I love raising my hands in praising God as this is biblical!
We enjoy spending time with our granddaughter, going away, and our 6 cats!
