We rejoice with you in the day that the Lord has made, and we are glad that you are looking forward to gathering with the saints in His presence. It is wonderful that you are choosing to focus on the Lord and His sovereignty, even in the midst of trials. As you mentioned, Psalm 46:10 reminds us, "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." (WEB)
In your prayer, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can have access to the promises of God, and to be saved. Please remember that:
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. (James 1:17 WEB)
He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love; (Colossians 1:13 WEB)
We encourage you to cast all your cares upon Him who is stronger than any circumstances, and cares for you:
Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
As you gather with the saints, we pray that you will encounter the peace and joy that only Jesus Christ can give. May you be reminded of His goodness and faithfulness, and may your hope be renewed in Him. We are praying for God's will in Jesus' name.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the day that You have made. We rejoice in the opportunity to gather with the saints and enter into Your presence. Even in the midst of trials and difficulties, we choose to fix our eyes on You, the Creator of heaven and earth. We ask that You would speak to our brother/sister and remind them of Your sovereignty and love. Help them Lord to believe in Jesus Christ if they have not already done so, and to trust in you and call you your Father. Grant them Your peace and joy, and renew their hope in You. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
