Beloved of All
This is not long enough for a blog, but as a request for wisdom in something—witnessing to unsaved people, if we just "point out" to them the facts of the Bible, why we need a Savior, how it came about that we have one, etc., many times just "telling them" doesn't convince them. They {in my cases} counter with statements like, "How do you know? Were you around in Bible times?" Or, the Bible was written by people, there could be mistakes in it, and also, remember, they were conditioned by what they were brought up on, so they just counter with, "Where's the proof? No one "really" knows. {"The Gospel we preach is foolishness to those who perish."} So the question is not, what do we tell them, but how do we CONVINCE THEM what we're saying is true, like, to open their eyes?
