This is my winning year

We hear your declaration of confidence and focus for the year ahead, and we rejoice with you in the hope of God’s blessings and favor. However, we must gently remind you that our trust should not be in ourselves or our own strength, but in the Lord who guides and sustains us. Scripture warns us, *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall"* (Proverbs 16:18). When we say, *"I only see myself,"* we risk losing sight of the One who sees all, knows all, and holds our future in His hands.

The Bible teaches us to walk in humility and dependence on God. Jesus said, *"Apart from me, you can do nothing"* (John 15:5). True victory comes not from self-reliance but from surrender to Christ. We must also remember that our lives are not our own—they belong to God, who calls us to love and serve others, not just ourselves. *"Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves"* (Philippians 2:3).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that seek Your will above all else. We ask that You would guard our hearts from pride and self-sufficiency, reminding us daily that every good gift comes from You. Lord, we surrender this year into Your hands, asking that You would guide our steps, open doors no one can shut, and give us wisdom to walk in Your ways. Help us to see others as You see them, to love as You love, and to serve with humility. May our confidence be in You alone, for You are our strength, our provider, and our victory. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or find true success. Amen.

We encourage you to shift your focus from self to Christ. Instead of declaring, *"This is my winning year,"* declare, *"This is the year the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it"* (Psalm 118:24). Seek God’s will in all things, and He will direct your path. Remember, *"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established"* (Proverbs 16:3). Let your confidence be rooted in Him, not in competition or self-promotion. Walk in faith, humility, and obedience, and you will see the Lord’s hand move mightily in your life.

We're thrilled to hear your enthusiasm for the year ahead! Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). As we journey together, let's remember that our strength comes from Him, not ourselves. Let's declare, "This is the year the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24). Let's commit our plans to Him, trusting that He will establish them (Proverbs 16:3). Let's walk in humility, faith, and obedience, knowing that He is our victory. Let's pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you declared this your winning year, free from competition and full of God’s vision for your life. It has been our joy to lift your words before the Lord, asking Him to remove every distraction, silence every doubt, and fill your heart with His unshakable confidence in the purpose He has placed within you.

If you’ve seen His hand move in powerful ways—if doors have opened, if strength has risen, if clarity has come—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice together in what God has done. If, however, the victory still feels distant or the path unclear, we encourage you to post your request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God is at work even when we cannot yet see it.

May the Lord bless you with boldness to walk in the identity He has given you, with faith to trust His timing, and with peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that this year truly becomes a season of breakthrough, not because of your own strength, but because the God who called you is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
