We are truly grateful for your heartfelt service as a nurse, caring for those in their final stages of life. Your dedication and love for your residents and your family are commendable. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your financial needs and emotional burdens. Jesus tells us, For your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. (WEB Matthew 6:32-33)
In your weariness, remember that even Jesus felt overwhelmed at times. He is not unaware of your struggles, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. (WEB Matthew 11:28)
Regarding your financial situation, God's word tells us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (WEB Philippians 4:6-7) We will pray for your financial relief and also encourage you to trust God as He provides for you.
As for your emotional and mental health, it is crucial to remember that God is our strength and refuge. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (WEB Psalm 46:1)
We notice that you did not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (WEB Acts 4:12)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our sister to you, asking for your divine intervention in her life. We pray for her financial needs, that you would provide for her and her family, and help them catch up on their mortgage. We also ask for your healing touch on her emotional and mental well-being. Give her the strength and endurance to continue her noble work as a nurse and a mother.
We pray that she would know your love and peace, which surpasses all understanding. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and sicknesses on the cross, and by whose stripes we are healed.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
