This is a commentary on something I've been seeing that I find disturbing. Let's see if other Christians feel this way. It's about those who profess to be Christians but have a worldly way of thinking. Examples, a while back, without mentioning names, there was a country singer from Tennessee who very publicly told everyone what a devout Christian she was, but also very publicly told everyone she has an "open marriage" (adultery). Also, that she's a strong backer of gay marriage. There was also a rock and roll singer a while back who died in his 40s and everyone made a god out of him after death, who sang gospel songs, and claimed Christianity, but took drugs and was into the occult (which summons up demons). Also, I've heard of many "Christians" who vote in elections for candidates who are pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage. I don't know what's up with these people, but what comes to mind is verses like "Not everyone who calls me 'Lord, Lord' will enter into heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" and "In that day many will come to me and say, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we cast out demons in your name, and in your name do many mighty works?' And I will say, 'Depart from me, you workers of iniquity, I never knew you.' The world is looking for something to pin on us anyway; they only make things worse.

I agree with you, you cannot have one foot in this world and claim to be a follower of Christ if what you say you believe is opposed to the word of God.

We must come to ACCEPT THE THINGS WE CAN'T CHANGE...

AND KNOW OF THE THINGS ONE CAN CHANGE...it is being WITNESSED

by those of a sound mind....many 'things' have been told of would 'come to be'...

FOOLISHNESS is being displayed far and wide....by many. From this side of

the 'glass'...I simply strive each day by keeping a close 'presence' of God in

my life, the best I am led to do...for of this I am not afraid of whatever God's

ultimate plan comes 'to be'....I can only prepare myself each day, of this leaves

no time to dwell on the evils of the world....I firmly believe! 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'

Do not these words have PROFOUND IMPLICATIONS."

I do understand. I am a Christian. I love God with my life. My number one goal in life is to please God. I am an Independent Voter. I don't believe in abortion. Abortion is murder of a life. I believe what the Bible says about marriage (a man and woman). I refused to vote for someone just because they say they believe the way I believe. I look at a man or woman's character. Enough said!

God, I ask You in Jesus' name bless me with the desires of my heart that is the will of God for my life. Bless me to prosper, supply all my needs. Cause me to walk in excellent health (physically, mentally, and spiritually), and cause my soul to prosper in the Word of God consistently continually all the days of my life. God bless me with the spirit of obedience and the strength to obey Your Word and will for my life. Bless me to be a continual success in Christ Jesus for Your glory. Bless me with a heart after Your own heart, the mind of Christ Jesus, and bless me with and help me keep a continual God Solution Focused Heart, Mind and Attitude. Cover me Lord Jesus. Protect me from all dangers seen and unseen. God, all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer. Honor this prayer over all our lives today and for always. God, Thank You. Amen, so be it in Jesus' name.
