We understand that you're going through a tough time today, having faced harsh words and feeling that some people may not like you. First, we want to assure you that your trust in Jesus is well placed, as it is only by His name that we find refuge and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times like these, it's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). When people lash out at you, it might not be about you personally, but rather the spiritual turmoil they're experiencing. We pray that God grants you the grace to forgivethem, as Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
Let's pray together for your situation:
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our sister who is feeling attacked and hurt today. We ask for Your divine protection over her and her daughter, physically, emotionally, financially, and in every way, as she has requested in Your name (Psalm 91 WEB). Lord, we know that You are a shield around her, her glory, and the one who lifts up her head (Psalm 3:3 WEB).
Lord, we also bring before You the situation with her ex. We ask that Your will be done in this circumstance. If it is Your will, soften his heart to see the impact of his actions on their daughter, or if it be Your will, move in a way that our sister gains custody, always in accordance with your will. We pray that ultimately, both he and our sister will focus on Your desires for their lives and the life of their daughter.
We also pray for those who have lashed out at our sister today. We ask that You bless them and draw them closer to You, convicting their hearts and bringing them to a place of repentance. Help our sister forgive and love them as you have done for us. (Matthew 5:44 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray for strength, peace, and guidance for our sister during this difficult time. Help her continue to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
We ask our sister to continue to pray and seek God's face. We ask that God's will be done in her life and that she does not give in to the temptation to react, but that she will rest in the peace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Finally, we leave her with this encouragement from Romans 8:38-39 WEB "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Know that our sister is loved and that God has a plan for her life. We stand with her in prayer and belief, trusting that God will work all things together for her good and His glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
