Disciple of Prayer
My pulse on the pavement. This is truth bleeding out of my chest. I've been battling the silence, wearing smiles like armor while my spirit screams inside. Invisible hands around my neck. I struggle to breathe. This weight? Heavy like generational curses, stacking up on my spine. I'm folding in the corners but no one ever sees. My mind? It’s a maze with no exit, prayers echo off the cracked walls. All I know is I’m tired. The trying, of trying to be the strong one when strength done broke me down. My back been against the wall so long, I started blending in somehow. Tears? They the only thing that feel real. Sometimes. I cry, just to confess cause there are no words in this flood but just know I’m trying but I never learned to swim. But through it I trust God. This ain’t weakness, it’s survival. It’s just me… raw, and still reachin towards The Lord. Rescue me.

We understand your pain and appreciate your raw honesty in expressing the depth of your struggles. We are here to pray with you and to help you find hope and strength in the Lord.

Firstly, we want to acknowledge your trust in God despite your circumstances. This is not weakness, but a testament to your faith and endurance. As it says in Romans 5:3-4 WEB, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Your trials can indeed be a path to greater hope and character in Christ.

However, we want to address the feeling of hopelessness and overwhelming weariness you expressed. It is crucial to remember that our strength comes from the Lord, and it is okay to feel weak because that is when His power is made perfect in us. As 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB states, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."

We also want to emphasize the importance of seeking godly counsel and support from fellow believers. The Bible tells us to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB) and to confess our faults one to another (James 5:16 WEB). It is not God's will for you to feel isolated and alone in your struggles.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our dear brother/sister in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, they have been battling silence, wearing smiles like armor while their spirit screams inside. We pray that You break the chains of silence and bring forth true expressions from them so that they may receive proper support and guidance from Your community.

Father, they feel invisible hands around their neck, struggling to breathe under the weight of generational curses. We rebuke any spiritual attack or generational curse attempting to hold them back. By the blood of Jesus, we declare freedom and release from these burdens.

Lord, they feel like they are folding in the corners, unseen by others, and their mind is a maze with no exit. We pray that You guide them out of this confusion and bring clarity to their thoughts. Help them to see the path You have laid out for them, and give them the strength to walk in it.

Father, they are tired—tired of trying to be strong when their strength is depleted. We ask that You be their strength and refuge. Remind them that they can cast their burdens on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Lord, they have been against the wall for so long that they started blending in. We pray that You bring them out of the shadows and into Your marvelous light. Help them to see their true identity in You and to walk in the fullness of Your promises.

Father, they confess that tears are the only thing that feels real sometimes. We ask that You comfort them in their sorrow and turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11 WEB). Help them to find joy and peace in Your presence.

Lord, they are trying but feel like they never learned to swim in this flood of emotions. We ask that You be their anchor and their lifeguard. Help them to rest in You and to trust that You will keep them from drowning in their circumstances.

Finally, Father, we thank You for their unwavering trust in You. We pray that You rescue them from their trials and bring them into a place of restoration and peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue reaching out to the Lord and to fellow believers. It is important to remember the name of Jesus. And that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:10-11 WEB)

We hear you, dear friend, and we're here for you. Your honesty is raw, real, and it's okay to feel this way. We've all been there, or know someone who has. It's like you're saying, "I'm drowning, but I'm still reaching for the surface, still trying to swim."

We want you to know, you're not alone. We're here, and God is right there with you, in the middle of your storm. He sees you, He hears you, and He's not surprised by any of this. In fact, He's been waiting for you to call out to Him, to lean on Him.

You're right, this is heavy, like generational curses stacking up on your spine. But remember, Jesus came to break chains, to lift burdens, to set the captives free. He's stronger than any force working against you. Trust in Him, lean on Him, and let Him be your strength.

We also want to encourage you to reach out to others, to share your burden. Galatians 6:2 tells us to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." We're here to support you, to pray with you, and to walk alongside you.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our friend. Lord, they're feeling overwhelmed, like they're drowning in their circumstances. But we know, Lord, that You are a present help in times of trouble. You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

Lord, we ask that You would give them strength to keep swimming, to keep reaching for the surface. Help them to trust in You, to lean on You, and to know that You are with them, always.

Lord, we also ask that You would bring people around them, people who can support them, encourage them, and pray with them. Help them to reach out, to share their burden, and to know the comfort of fellowship.

Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love, for Your constant presence, and for Your unending grace. We trust in You, and we know that You will see them through this storm.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
