Think Positive

[HOPE]

Lord,

Thank you for giving us the gift of being able to choose for ourselves which thoughts we wish to dwell upon. Remind us all that if we choose to dwell upon thoughts that are joyful, then we shall build foundations for our lives that are also joyful. Remind us to pay close attention to our thoughts because whatever our life may be like at this very moment, if we choose to think about the positive rather than the negative we begin to change our present circumstances for the better. If we think about how blessed we are, we are opening our hearts and minds through faith to receiving even more blessings.

Inspire us today with many positive and happy thoughts so that our hearts and souls sing. Help those of us who dwell on the negative to shift our thinking to more positive thought patterns. Remind us that when we have a negative thought that this is not really the path that we want to be moving down.

If we are feeling that any positive thought is impossible at this moment, lead us to take a moment to think of You and keep our minds open to having faith that there is a better way through Your grace and love for us. We only have to begin moving in a more positive direction and we will find that You are right there helping us.

Remind us that positive thinking will impact every area of our lives for the better---our health, relationships, business, personal success and our ability to make a positive difference in the world because You have made it so. AMEN.

Father, I join ### in this beautiful prayer. You bless us with so much more than we realize...so much more than we deserve. We admit that most of the time, complaining comes off of our tongues more quickly than rejoicing. Turn us around, dear Lord. Help us to see that each day holds blessings and untold wonder from Your mighty hand. Help us to turn our thoughts to positive things, and keep our eyes and our minds firmly fixed upon You. You loved us enough to sacrifice Your own Son for the forgiveness of our sins....may we in some way be able to return as much unselfish, honest love to You. Amen.
