We all know forgiveness is a must, as per the word of god. After forgiveness, we need to do the following
1.No Vengeance against the person who sinned against you.
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:30-31(KJV)
2. Pray for the person who hurt you
Pray for the happiness of those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. Luke 6:28(NLT)
3.Discipline your Minds and stop thinking about that. Take that thought captive and make it obedient to Christ in Jesus Name
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2Cor10:5(KJV)
4. Reconcile with the person , if it is possible
So if you are standing before the altar in the Temple, offering a sacrifice to God, and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there beside the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Mathew 5:23-24(NLT)
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Rom 12:18(NLT)
