They are trapped
We have heard your heart in this request and we join together with you in prayer before our heavenly Father, for you and for your dear mother and your family.
We understand you feel trapped and you are carrying a heavy burden for your mother, for her lip that needs healing, for her marriage, and for the jealousy that has come against her because of her beauty, and for the situation with your twin brother. We bring all of this to the Lord who sees and hears and is our deliverer. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:17-18. We also remember that a jealous spirit brings division, for where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. James 3:16. A tranquil heart is the life of the flesh, but jealousy is the rottenness of the bones. Proverbs 14:30. We rebuke that spirit of jealousy and ask God to replace it with love and peace in your family, and we pray that those who look upon your mother would see her heart before the Lord rather than outward appearance, for Yahweh does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7.
We also lift up your mother's health and her marriage. Marriage is to be held in honor among all. Hebrews 13:4, and we pray God would protect and strengthen her marriage and bring healing to her body. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was on him, and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5. And concerning your twin brother and his wealth, we pray he would use what God has given him with wisdom and generosity to help and not to harm, for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. 1 Timothy 6:10, but our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. May the Lord give him a heart to be a brother who helps in time of trouble.
