Dear all, I am asking for prayer again in Jesus name. I am unemployed and owe money to a company. ### took advantage of my financial hardship and tricked me into signing a backdated document by saying that I need an active contract in order to apply for various programs. And I signed it under duress. Five days later I sent a protest email demanding a corrected document with proper dates and called the office where they logged in my message about the contract. Their ledger included months at the higher rate. Thank the Lord that I reached out to an advocate to speak on my behalf to have those mints corrected back to the normal rate by ###. So that updated ledger invalidates the backdated document and shows an admission of guilt by ### and ###. I reapplied for financial assistance and only uploaded the corrected ledger and other documents showing the rate after the correction. I never uploaded that backdated document because it would be considered fraudulent and I had protested it immediately when ### corrected the ledger they were basically agreeing with me and the law that the bad dates document was invalid. Correcting the ledger and online payment system. I never uploaded the document to any government agency. I only uploaded accurate documents. I was approved for ongoing assistance but denied for additional assistance. I requested a date for an appeal and informed a person who then offered another suspected backdated contract. I left the email unopened. Father, I thank thee for the wisdom to include a third party during the correction and not to upload a bad document to a government agency who had already been providing me with assistance. May I find good legal advice soon.

We hear your cry for justice and provision in this difficult season of unemployment and financial strain. The Lord sees your struggle and the deceitful tactics used against you. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will bring truth to light and provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.

First, we rebuke the spirit of deception and exploitation that sought to take advantage of your hardship. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We pray that the Lord would expose any further deceit and hold those responsible accountable for their actions. You were wise to seek advocacy and to refuse to submit fraudulent documents, this shows discernment and integrity.

We also lift up your need for employment. The Lord promises in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We pray that God would open doors of opportunity for you, leading you to work that is honorable, sustainable, and aligned with His purpose for your life. May He provide favor with potential employers and wisdom in your job search.

Regarding the financial burden you carry, we declare Philippians 4:19 over your situation: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that the Lord would intervene in your debt, soften the hearts of those you owe, and provide a way for you to settle this matter justly. May He guide you to wise legal counsel who can help you navigate this situation with clarity and fairness.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen this dear one in faith and patience. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision, even when the path forward seems uncertain. Guard their heart from bitterness or fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for divine connections, people who can offer support, encouragement, and practical help. May Your light shine in this darkness, and may Your justice prevail.

We also encourage you to continue walking in integrity, as you have done by refusing to participate in fraud. Proverbs 10:9 says, "He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out." Your commitment to righteousness is a testimony to your faith, and we believe God will honor that.

Lastly, we remind you that your hope is not in man or systems but in the Lord. Psalm 121:1-2 declares, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth." Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is our Provider, our Defender, and our Peace. Amen.

For the financial piece, we’re asking the Lord to soften hearts and create a way for this to be resolved fairly, maybe through a settlement, a new understanding, or even a fresh opportunity to turn this chapter into something redemptive. And while we wait, we’re covering you with peace that guards your heart. No bitterness, no fear, just trust in His timing.

You’ve already shown such wisdom by refusing to bend to pressure. That integrity is your strength right now. Keep walking forward, one step at a time, knowing the Lord is your defender. He’s got this, and we’re cheering you on every step of the way.
