Light for Those Who Sit in Darkness
Even the deepest darkness of ignorance and despair gives way to Christ’s great light for those who see him.
We join with you in faith and in agreement and we thank you for inviting us to stand together in prayer over your life. We love your heart to declare the truth of God's word and to seek His favor, His miracles, His blessings and His glory, and to stand against the darkness in Jesus' name, and we humbly bring all of these things before the Father with thanksgiving as you have asked.

We are encouraged by the scripture you are praying, which reminds us of when Elisha told his servant, Don't be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them, 2 Kings 6:16. That is a powerful truth and we claim it with you today. We also remember the promise, What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us, Romans 8:31. When we belong to Christ, the Lord Himself surrounds us and fights for us, and there is no principality or power that can overcome His presence in our lives.

You have prayed for favor and we agree with you, for the word says, For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield, Psalm 5:12. We pray that the Lord's favor would rest upon you not simply for abundance for its own sake, but so that your life would bring Him glory and be a testimony of His goodness. You have prayed for miracles and blessings and we join you there as well, knowing that nothing is too hard for the Lord, Jeremiah 32:27, and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians 3:20.

We also stand with you against the principalities and powers of darkness in high places. We take seriously that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we put on the whole armor of God with you and we resist the enemy in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.

So we pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We thank You that You are for us and with us. We ask that You pour out Your favor upon our dear fellow believer, that You would open doors no man can shut and guide every step according to Your perfect will. We ask for Your miracles and blessings to be manifest in a way that clearly shows Your hand, not for our glory but for Yours, so that others may see and give You praise. We ask that You rebuke every scheme of darkness, every principality and power that would seek to hinder Your purposes, and we ask that You fill this life and homes and communities around the world with Your abounding glory. Transform us from glory to glory as we behold You, 2 Corinthians 3:18, and let Your light shine through us. We ask that Your will be done in all things and that we would remain humble, faithful and thankful, trusting Your timing and Your ways which are higher than ours. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for letting us stand with you in this. We hear your hunger for God's favor and for His glory to be seen in your life and around the world, and we are grateful you brought this prayer to us with thanksgiving and trust in Jesus.

We join you in asking for God's hand on your life and for His protection as you walk with Him. We know the struggle against darkness is real, and we also know we can rest in the victory Jesus has already won as we stay close to Him day by day in prayer and in fellowship with other believers.

It can help to keep this prayer from being something you carry alone. If you have a trusted pastor or a steady prayer partner in your local church, keep sharing this burden with them so they can agree with you in person and encourage you week by week.

Father, we thank You for this heart that longs for You. We lift our friend to You now and ask for Your favor and mercy according to Your perfect will. Guard them from the enemy's schemes, strengthen their faith, and make Your presence and goodness known in their life in the way You choose. Draw them closer to Jesus each day and keep them in Your peace and care. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We have heard your prayer and we gladly stand with you in faith and agreement before the throne of grace.

You have prayed the word spoken to the fearful servant of Elisha, that there are more with us than with them, and it is a true word. When the eyes are opened, we see that the Lord of hosts keeps His people. How glorious is that picture of Moses with uplifted hands upon the hill giving victory to Joshua in the plain below. So Christ our Head has won the victory, and every member of His mystical body, even the most uncomely, was virtually a conqueror in the conquering Head.

Take comfort then in this, that the victory of our Lord Jesus Christ is sure. It is sure because it rests upon a Divine promise, and every word of promise that comes from God is established. Has He said and shall He not do it. The Father Himself puts forth His hand to guarantee the victory, saying, Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great. It will certainly be achieved by the Son. The results of this victory are very substantial. As the result of Christ's death, Satan's power is broken. The Seed of the woman shall trample on the serpent, and He will no longer go forth to rule among the nations as he once did. Therefore when you pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places, you do not pray as one without hope, but as one who pleads the triumph already accomplished at the cross.

You have asked for favor, and we pray with you that you may know the God of your mercy, as David did, not merely mercy in general, but mercy peculiarly yours in Christ. You have asked for miracles, and we remind you that this Man does many miracles still, and He will continue to do them till He shall come to claim His final victory. The greatest of these miracles are miracles of love, that same Divine power which brought our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead bringing us up from our death in sin, lifting our sins as none but Jehovah Jesus could lift them and bearing them upon His shoulders. You have asked for blessings, and we pray that you may know the provision of Him who under you places the everlasting arms, who thrusts out the enemy before you and whose shield goes in front and whose sword clears the way.

So let us pray together. O Lord our God, we thank You that underneath are the everlasting arms and that You have promised victory through Christ. Grant to this dear soul a clear sight of that victory, a quiet confidence that You are for us, and a heart at rest in Your love. Show Your favor in Christ, work Your miracles of grace in the heart and life, and pour out Your blessings according to Your wisdom and goodness. Guard from the snares of the enemy, break the power of darkness wherever it opposes Your truth, and let Your glory be seen and Your name hallowed. We ask not for our own praise but that Christ may have His portion with the great and that boundless honors may be given to Him forever. All this we humbly ask in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Saviour, with thanksgiving. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We stand with you in prayer and give thanks that you have brought this request before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that every prayer is heard.

You have prayed the word spoken to Elisha's servant, that those who are with us are more than those who are with them. That is true, and it is a great comfort. The Lord does not leave His people alone, and His power to save and to keep is far greater than any opposition. We join you in asking that you would know this presence not only as an idea but as a steady confidence in your daily life.

You have asked for favor and for miracles and for blessings and for glory. Hear how the Scriptures guide us in these things. All good gifts are grace. We have received freely, and we are called to live freely in return. Favor with God is not drawn down by many repetitions or by pomp of words, but by a strong and faithful mind, by skill in the Scriptures, and by a life that seeks holiness. Miracles themselves are the work of His grace, not a price we pay and not a sign of our own work. Without a life of obedience and love, miracles are nothing. In fact the Lord often works miracles to awaken the unbelieving, while for those who already believe He desires growth through His teaching, through sober and watchful living, and through love for others. So we pray not only for wonderful works to be seen, but that your conduct would be kept pure, that pride and covetousness would have no place, and that whatever God does for you would make you more humble, more generous, and more faithful to His word.

You have also prayed against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. This warfare is real, and Scripture calls it a good warfare. It is not fought with relaxed or careless living, but with continual vigilance, with sobriety, with prayer, and with readiness to stand for what is right. The way to war this good warfare is to yield your members as instruments of righteousness, to put away excuses, to apply yourself to the toils that virtue requires, and to trust that God Himself will assist you in the struggle. He varies His help, sometimes by His word and sometimes by His power, but always to confirm your faith and to make you steadfast.

Therefore we pray with you and for you now.

Father in heaven, we thank You for Your mercy in Jesus Christ. We ask that You would guard this dear one who seeks You. Let Your favor rest upon them according to Your wisdom and goodness, not as a reward for words but as Your gracious gift. Work in their life what will most glorify Your name and most conform them to Christ, whether through miracles or through quiet providence. Keep them from the schemes of the evil one, clothe them with the armor You provide, and make them watchful and steadfast in faith. Fill them with a love for Your word and with strength to live it out, so that others may see Your power not only in wonders but in a holy life. Let Your glory be known in their home and in the world through the clear testimony of Jesus risen and reigning. We ask all this with thanksgiving in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
