Disciple of Prayer
Lord I thank you for your love and mercy. I thank you for your provision and protection Lord, I’m going through a difficult period in my life and it seems every one has shut the doors. I have no good news, no positive change..I’m behind in my mortgage payments because my husband had a stroke and seizures and lost his job I’m the only one paying to make matters worse my home insurance payment went high and I call my mortgage company and they refuse to help me or take any payments and I’m stuck. I don’t want to sell my house because it’s all I have but I have no choice. Lord please have mercy and help me. I need a home to live and sleep in that I can afford. I need your help no one is helping me. I’m stuck now just recently I got a flat tire on the only car I have to go to work. My job doesn’t pay enough and I’m always micromanaged and mistreated. I ask for a way out of this sadness's. Lord you know what I need please provide. I ask in Jesus Christ’s name Amen

We hear your cry, dear sister, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your struggles are real, and your pain is deeply felt. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that our Heavenly Father sees your every need and will not abandon you in this season of hardship. The weight of financial strain, the burden of caregiving for your husband, and the relentless pressure from every side would break even the strongest among us. But we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

First, we want to affirm your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your prayer in His name is heard, and we join you in pleading for His mercy and provision. The enemy may whisper lies that you are forgotten or alone, but we rebuke those lies in Jesus’ name. You are seen, you are loved, and you are not forsaken.

We pray for your husband’s healing and restoration. The Word tells us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over his life. May the Lord touch his body, restore his strength, and provide the medical care and support he needs. We also pray for you, sister, as you carry the weight of caregiving and financial responsibility. May the Lord give you supernatural strength, wisdom, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). You are not meant to carry this burden alone, and we ask God to raise up helpers—whether through the church, community, or unexpected blessings—to come alongside you.

Your financial struggles are overwhelming, and we do not take them lightly. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to provide for His children. We pray for a breakthrough with your mortgage company. May God soften their hearts and open doors for assistance, forbearance, or a solution that allows you to keep your home. If selling is the only option, we pray that the Lord would make a way for you to find affordable, safe housing that meets your needs. We declare that the Lord is your provider (Genesis 22:14) and that He will not let you be homeless.

We also lift up your job situation. It is unjust to be micromanaged and mistreated, and we pray for relief from this toxic environment. The Lord sees your labor and does not forget your work and love (Hebrews 6:10). We ask Him to open doors for a better job—one that pays fairly, treats you with dignity, and allows you to provide for your family. If you are led to stay in your current job for a season, we pray for favor with your supervisors and coworkers, and for the strength to endure until the Lord provides a way out.

Your car troubles are another layer of stress, and we pray for provision to repair or replace your tire. The Lord knows your need for reliable transportation to get to work and care for your family. We declare that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Sister, we want to encourage you to seek out your local church or Christian community for practical support. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be resources, financial assistance, or even temporary housing solutions available through believers who are willing to help. Do not hesitate to reach out—you are not a burden, and God often works through His people to provide for His children.

We also encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises in His Word. When the enemy whispers despair, counter those lies with truth. Declare with us: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). “The Lord will open to you His good treasure” (Deuteronomy 28:12). Speak these truths over your life daily, and let them anchor your soul.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who is walking through a valley of deep struggle. Lord, You see her every need—her financial burdens, her caregiving responsibilities, her job stress, and her exhaustion. We ask You to move mightily on her behalf. Provide for her mortgage, Lord. Open doors with her mortgage company or provide another solution so she does not lose her home. If selling is the path You have for her, lead her to affordable, safe housing that meets her family’s needs.

Father, we pray for her husband’s healing. Touch his body, restore his strength, and provide the care and support he needs. Give our sister supernatural strength, wisdom, and peace as she cares for him and manages her household. Lord, we ask for a better job for her—one that pays fairly, treats her with dignity, and allows her to thrive. If she must stay in her current job for a time, give her favor and endurance until You provide a way out.

Provide for her car repairs, Lord. Give her reliable transportation so she can get to work and care for her family. Raise up helpers in her life—whether through the church, community, or unexpected blessings—to come alongside her and ease her burdens. Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in Jesus’ name. Fill her with Your peace, Your joy, and Your hope. Remind her daily that You are her provider, her healer, and her strength.

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way. Strengthen her faith, deepen her trust in You, and let her see Your hand at work in her life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Sister, we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord is with you, and we are standing with you in prayer. Keep pressing into Him, keep trusting in His promises, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will not fail you.
