WE read in the Bible, "the works of the flesh are.."BUT there are a few things I would think are the works of the flesh, because I notice them usually in unsaved people.See who agrees. One thing I myself have experienced, and I'm sure some of you have, is once someone gets to know you a little, or senses that you're "nice", is, a light goes on in their head, and instead of seeing you as a person they see you as an object who can be used to help them with things they don't want to do themselves. It seems to be part of human nature to look to use someone for things, and then they start to make a habit of it, and if you have something important of your own doing at the time, and must turn them down, they actually get mad at you!!{Not talking about people with an OCCASIONAL legitimate need, but those who, maybe they're too lazy to do {whatever} themselves, so see a chance for someone else to do it.It gets to the point of taking advantage}.So I thought this instant thought of making a slave out of someone because you think they're "easygoing" might be a work of the fallen nature. The second thing, how about an "addictive personality?"meaning, it's usually unsaved people who gravitate towards things that are bad for them, like smoking, smoking pot, drinking, even drinking "umpteen" cups of coffee every morning, which the caffeine isn't so good for you.Remember, it's the BODY that craves those things, not the Spirit.I know at least a few people who have had bad health habits throughout their lives, then when they get older, things related to that pop up. You reap what you sew.
