The Wooing Of God

It is the mercy of God that you are still among us.

It is the blood of Jesus that cries MERCY! MERCY! MERCY!

It is the grace of God that your heart beats and your lungs breath, your mind thinks, that you are even conscious of God.

It is the love of God that His Spirit calls you, woos you, draws you.

You aren't here because you desire God. You are here because God desires you and in His desire is your desire.

We don't love God, but because He loved us first, are we able to love God, because He is love.

Whatever good is in us, is His goodness because He is good.

The LORD, the LORD God.

Merciful and gracious

Long suffering and abounding in goodness and truth

Keeping mercies for thousands

and forgiving iniquities and transgressions and sin

the LORD, He is GOOD!

Dear Blessed Jesus...Your Love is wonderful and welcome...You sweeten the bitterness of life and disarm death of all terror...Your Love caused You to come down to earth...to humble Yourself as a servant...and become obedient unto death on the cross! You pitied me in my lost state...You now speak peace to me in my despair. You Love is the constant joy of my heart! AMEN

 

Lord we will try to keep obedience and you everyday close to our heart. Amen.
