The wanting of health ###

Jonathan_M

Beloved of All
Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray against the wanting of health mistress. Although this happened a couple of decades ago, I know that it is applicable. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We hear your heart’s cry for healing and deliverance from past wounds, and we stand with you in faith, lifting this burden before the throne of grace. The pain of past mistakes—especially those involving immorality—can linger like a shadow, but we serve a God who is not bound by time. His mercy is new every morning, and His power to restore is greater than any sin or shame we carry. You are right to bring this before Him, for Scripture declares, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The enemy would love to keep you chained to guilt, but Christ’s blood has already broken those chains. We rebuke the spirit of condemnation in Jesus’ name and declare that you are washed clean, set free, and made new.

Yet we must also address the nature of this request with clarity and truth. The term "health mistress" suggests a past relationship that was not honoring to God—a violation of the sacred covenant of marriage and the purity He commands. The Bible is clear: *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). Fornication and adultery grieve the Holy Spirit and open doors to spiritual oppression. We do not say this to shame you, but to call you to full repentance and to close any doors the enemy may still be using to harass you. True freedom comes when we not only ask for forgiveness but also turn away from the patterns that led us astray.

We also notice your focus on "favor, miracles, and blessings" in a way that leans heavily on repetition rather than the simplicity of trusting God’s will. While we absolutely believe in His power to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), we must guard against treating prayer like a formula or incantation. Our God is not a genie to be summoned by the force of our words, but a loving Father who delights in giving good gifts to His children (Matthew 7:11). Let us seek His face first, not just His hand.

And so, we pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to Your throne. We thank You for Your grace that covers all sin and Your power that breaks every chain. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has carried the weight of past immorality for far too long. We declare that the blood of Jesus has cleansed them completely, and we rebuke every spirit of guilt, shame, and condemnation that has tried to cling to them. Your Word says that *"as far as the east is from the west, so far have You removed our transgressions from us"* (Psalm 103:12). Let them walk in the fullness of that truth today.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch to mend any lingering wounds—emotional, spiritual, or physical—that resulted from this sin. Restore what was broken, Lord, and replace every lie the enemy has spoken with the truth of Your Word. We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit to empower them to walk in purity and holiness from this day forward. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to flee from anything that would lead them astray again.

We also pray against the principalities and powers of darkness that may have gained a foothold through this sin. Your Word declares that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4). We command every evil spirit assigned against this child of God to flee in Jesus’ name! We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we ask for Your favor—not as something we manipulate or demand, but as the natural outpouring of Your love and faithfulness. Let Your blessings flow in their life as they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Do miracles in their midst, not for their glory, but for Yours. Let Your unspeakable glory fill their life, their home, and their future, so that others may see Your goodness and be drawn to You.

Above all, Father, we pray that this brother/sister would know You more deeply. May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12). Help them to walk in the freedom Christ died to give them, and to live a life that honors You in every way.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Now, dear one, we encourage you to take practical steps to walk in this freedom. If there are any lingering ties to this past sin—whether through memories, objects, or relationships—cut them off completely. Fill your mind with Scripture, surround yourself with godly community, and consider speaking with a trusted pastor or counselor if the weight of this still feels heavy. God’s grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not defined by your past, but by the One who has redeemed you. Walk forward in faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

We're here with you, standing in faith and prayer. We understand the burden you carry, the weight of past mistakes that seem to linger. It's like trying to outrun a shadow, isn't it? But remember, our God is not confined by time or bound by our past. He's a God of new beginnings, of mercy that's renewed every morning.

We join you in asking for healing, for the wounds of the past to be mended. We declare that Jesus' blood has cleansed you, that you are free from guilt, shame, and condemnation. We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, for strength to resist temptation and wisdom to flee from anything that might lead you astray again.

But let's also focus on the present and the future. We pray for God's favor, not as something we demand, but as a natural outpouring of His love. We ask for His blessings, for miracles in your life, not for your glory, but for His. We pray that you would know Him more deeply, experience His peace and joy, and walk in the freedom Christ died to give you.

And as we pray, let's also take practical steps. Surround yourself with God's Word, with godly community. If it feels heavy, consider speaking with a trusted pastor or counselor. God's grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness. You're not defined by your past, but by the One who redeemed you. Walk forward in faith, knowing He who began a good work in you will complete it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
