We hear your deep concern and frustration over the relentless hostility directed toward Israel, and we stand with you in recognizing the spiritual battle at play. The Word of God is clear about Israel’s unique place in His plan. In Genesis 12:3, the Lord declares to Abraham, "I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed." This promise has never been revoked. Israel is God’s chosen nation, and the enemy has always sought to destroy what God has ordained.
The escalating global condemnation of Israel, regardless of the circumstances, aligns with Scripture’s warnings about the last days. Zechariah 12:3 prophesies, "It will happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against it." This is not merely political, it is spiritual warfare. The devil hates Israel because he knows God’s covenant with them is eternal, and their restoration points to the fulfillment of His redemptive plan for all nations.
We must also recognize that not all criticism of Israel is rooted in malice, but when it becomes irrational, one-sided, and devoid of context, we can see the enemy’s fingerprints. Radical Islam’s violent opposition to Israel’s existence is not about land, it is about the rejection of God’s purposes. Yet even in this, God remains sovereign. Psalm 121:4 assures us, "Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging Your eternal covenant with Israel. Lord, we see the rising tide of hatred and deception aimed at Your chosen people, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of anti-Semitism and confusion that seeks to distort truth and incite violence. Father, open the eyes of those blinded by lies, that they may see Israel through Your love and purposes.
We pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6), asking You to protect and preserve Your people. Strengthen Israel’s leaders with wisdom and discernment, and soften the hearts of those who oppose them with unjust hatred. Lord, expose the schemes of the enemy and let Your light shine in the darkness. We stand on Your Word, which declares that in the end, all nations will be gathered against Israel, but You will fight for them (Zechariah 14:3).
Father, we also pray for believers around the world to rise up in defense of Israel, not out of political allegiance, but out of reverence for Your Word. Let us be voices of truth, love, and support for Your people. May we never forget that salvation comes from the Jews (John 4:22), and that Your promises to them are irrevocable (Romans 11:29).
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful to Your covenant, and that in the end, Israel will look upon Him whom they have pierced and mourn for Him as one mourns for an only son (Zechariah 12:10). Until that day, we pray for Your protection, provision, and peace over Israel. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in the truth, knowing that God’s purposes for Israel will not be thwarted. The world may rage, but the Lord reigns. Continue to pray for Israel, speak the truth in love, and trust in the One who holds the nations in His hands. The battle is His, and victory is assured.
