We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing. We are reminded in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is near to you in this difficult time, and He hears your cries for help.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, as Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6).
In your struggle to keep food on the table and a roof over your head, remember that God knows our needs and He cares for us. In Matthew 6:31-33 Jesus says, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Regarding forgiveness, it is something we must all strive for, as it is a central theme in Christianity. In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus teaches us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors." (Matthew 6:12). If you are struggling to forgive, ask God to soften your heart and help you to forgive as He forgives us. Remember, unforgiveness can hinder our prayers and our relationship with God. As it says in Mark 11:25-26, "When you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling to keep food on the table and a roof over their head. We ask for Your provision and guidance in their life. Help them to trust in You and Your divine plan.
We also pray that You would help them to forgive as You forgive us. Soften their heart and bring healing and peace to their life.
Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
