Brother when blogging, we predominantly get the info from one source i.e. the bible, so it will always have similarities. That's pretty much what sharing the gospel is all about. I've been around a long time and even most sermons are not new under the sun. How can subjects be vastly different?
I could say 'same old, same old' but I understand that the blog is not always intended for me but for others including new Christians. Christian leaders often use other people 'catch phrases" when preaching. They may even build on a colleague's principle. Just look at Christian history.

When I observe a situation around me that needs blogging (like a behavioral issue) I will address it on a blog. I know full well that it has probably been covered. I use scriptures to reinforce my message but...you are right, it most likely been shared before. Why don't you share a constructive comment on a blog to add to the topic? Great conversation can start that way.

Now what about intent? Should you not consider a blogger's motive before deeming a piece as rehashed message? No one gets paid here, no one reaps any kind of benefits from blogging except for being in obedience to the Lord (I hope that's why they do it). Most people on this site will probably know the direction of the blog long before they finish reading it. Some lines may be used from others because they are attention grabbers but what of it? The bloggers are just trying to get a point across.
Now as a former journalist, I have learned to list all sources. I have no objection in adhering to this standard if pradmin desires us to do so. But I never observed any such demands placed by the admin.

But for the record I do enjoy reading other people's blogs even though for the most part, I know where the message is going. Keep them coming people!

Let's not discourage any messages when they are rooted in biblical scriptures.
I was drugged by my ### when I was kid, I was drugged right to Sunday school. Sorry my sense of humor must be hereditary.

Whatever you do or say, do it all for the glory of God the Father. Make sure people get on the road to heaven, get saved and let Jesus come into your heart so you will be entering into the glorious presence of God in glory. Nothing is more important in this life than doing God's will on earth.

All glory to Jesus. He has given us a heart to share the Lord with everyone. I shared Jesus with all my friends on line already and I am fasting and praying for them daily that Jesus will save their souls and be on their way to glory. What a wonderful way to share the Lord. Be original, be a blessing. Tell others that Jesus is coming soon to take us home to heaven.
