My Humble Lord,
How you show me,
The power of silence.
Lord you speak to me.
You speak to me in silence.
You spoke little,
But your words had depth.
Your words are our gateway to heaven.
Lord you never spoke about your own greatness.
Yet Your mighty works, speak about you.
The impossible miracles, gives us hope to carry on…
Your powerful preaching’s, inspires us to do what deeds you did for others.
Yet Lord
You never spoke about it.
You let the good things happen in silence.
Lord how you suffered in silence.
On the cross, laden with our sins and misdeeds.
Lord, you were alone in the garden of Gethsemane.
Lord, you were being tormented with what was to come.
And never for once did you step back, or speak up.
But you accepted it all in silence.
To free me of my sins.
You did it even without telling me.
You rescued and freed me.
Even before I knew about it,
You accepted me as your child.
In silence you paid the price.
And now Lord you speak to me in silence.
You wait for me in silence.
Wait for me to come to you.
You wait so that I too accept you as my Savior.
Lord how patient you are with me.
How in silence you wait for me,
Wait for me, so that I am done with the day’s deeds.
And when I come to you.
I have so many things to fill you up with.
My daily chores, my experiences, my hurts, my tears.
My problems, my petty issues, my criticisms,
My hopes, my dreams, my aspirations,
My desires, my worries, my moodiness.
In silence you listen to it Lord.
Taking it all in your stride.
Without even once complaining ,
That sometimes even you would like to speak to me,
Then just to hear from me.
To tell me that you love me no matter what.
To tell me that you are always there for me.
To guide me and protect me, only if I could listen to you.
How much more would you suffer Lord through me.
How many time would I put you back on the Cross.
Even without saying a word.
You say it all.
Lord you speak to me.
You speak to me in silence.
How you show me,
