The signs of the times

When the disciplines asked Jesus what the signs of the end would be,one sign He gave was,"There will be earthquakes in diverse places."Now check out the news lately. More and more, we hear of an earthquake here, then there.BUT,I also notice that the earthquakes are usually causing few or no injuries,or are in an offbeat area. So I came to a theory on this,see if you agree. Jesus said, "These things must happen first, but the end is not yet."Tie that in with few injuries during the earthquakes, and I come to the conclusion that these earhquakes are more "warning signs" .Like, they're sent as a "pre-warning" , to alert people, rather than with the intent of destruction.That, to me, would explain why there's an increase in earthquakes, yet with little or no injuries. It's to wake people up.The real destruction comes during Armaggedon.At least it seems like that's the explanation to me. Who would agree or disagree?

Yes, I agree. God is trying to get our attention. There are many watchmen out there who were woken up by the Lord a few years ago realizing the late hour. The birth pangs Jesus described including earthquakes, volcanoes etc. have dramatically increased in frequency and intensity over the last 130 years or so but there are hundreds of signs and prophetic indicators that point to this time now as the time just before the tribulation.There is a theologian in Switzerland by the name of Dr. Roger Liebi who has painstakingly analyzed all the relevant OT and NT prophecies relating to the end times/Day of the Lord/Second Coming and written a book in which he provides evidence that since 1882 (first Jewish immigration back into the promised land) over 180 prophecies were fulfilled many centering in and around Israel and Jerusalem. This proves beyond the shadow of a doubt (the probability that all these happened by chance is virtually nil) that the final stretch of the end times which started with the birth of the church has begun and that we are now living in the last of the last days. Almost 70 years have passed since the re-birth of Israel on 14 May 1948 (a date which the bible points to by the way...precisely to the day). The fig tree has blossomed again and we see that summer must be very nigh. It is time to look up for our redemption surely draws nigh. But we also must pray like never before and share the Gospel. The spiritual attacks have increased so much just recently. I so often get to the point where I feel I cannot take it anymore. Let us pray for one another but also the world that many will still be saved. Maranatha.

Yes, Rico i totaly agree with the dtstement that attacks have increased. They happen in my life more often and i also feel sometimes i Will Snap, Like i cannot take it any more. (diarrhea, noise and witchcraft in my neighbourhood, different fears/anxieties, religion in churches where i live). Yes, i agree totaly that we should have more emphaty for one another and to pray as much as we can for eachoter. I am not an expert in end times things i live more by little personal guidance and prophecies. But thank you for your comment.

Amen. I am blessed by this question and discussion. Spiritual darkness was prevalent in the ER I visited. So many in great need, suffering. A strong feeling of fear. I was given strength and prayed through the night as people came in and left. it really opened my eyes. I had packed a couple things in a paper bag in case I needed to stay. It reminded me that when we leave this world, we won’t even have that. Am I ready? Are we ready for that day? I am home now, but have left the bag out as a reminder to myself.




The need is great. The call to pray and love is dire. Stop, whatever you are doing, and take the time to pray. You can even write the prayer or type it....God does also answer written prayers. I have kept prayers and have recorded the amazing answers, every fear and concern-met.




It seems to me that there is a lot of darkness now and the enemy is brazen. People stealing public mailboxes right off the street and even main ones from post office. Police situations during the day and ambulances often. It is of utmost importance that we cover our cities in prayer. When you are driving pray for those you see and those around you. I don’t know if we are living in the end times. We should always watch and pray. God bless this ministry and all who visit! Thanks for posting!
