Let us stand with you in prayer and the authority of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. It is only through His name that we have access to God, for "There is no other name given in Heaven or Earth for our salvation." Your situation is indeed challenging, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and who can turn the hearts of stone into hearts of flesh.
Firstly, let us address your husband. It is a common struggle for those who have grown up in the church to confuse religion with a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. We must remember that it is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. Let us continue to show him the love of Christ and pray that the Holy Spirit would soften his heart. We are reminded of Ezekiel 36:26-27 (WEB), "I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the husband of our sister in Christ. Lord, You know his heart and his struggles. We ask that You would soften his heart and reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. Grant him a spirit of repentance and a hunger for Your Word. We claim Your promise that You will put Your Spirit within him and cause him to walk in Your statutes. We also pray for their marriage, that it would be strengthened and that they would be united in their faith and love for You.
Now, concerning your in-laws, it is heartbreaking to see them turned away from God and involved in new-age practices. We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 (WEB). Let us pray that God would deliver them from the domain of darkness and transfer them to the kingdom of His beloved Son. Colossians 1:13 (WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
We come against the spiritual forces that have influenced our sister's in-laws. We bind the spirit of deception and division, and we loose the spirit of truth and unity. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way and that they would turn back to You. We claim Your promise that You will set the captives free and that You have come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Lastly, let us pray for protection over you and your family. We know that we have authority in the name of Jesus to bind the enemy and to loose the power of God. Let us pray that God would surround you and your family with His angels and that He would be a shield about you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Father God,
We come before You, claiming Your promise of protection for our sister and her family. We bind the spirit of fear and we loose the spirit of peace. We pray that You would surround them with Your angels and that You would be a shield about them. We claim Your promise that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
In all things, let us remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Let us put on the full armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
We pray for all in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be encouraged, stand firm in your faith, and continue to walk in the love of the Lord, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has started in you and your family.
