The Power of Love

God will not judge you by your works but by the Love in your heart that initiated those works.

Colossians 3:14​

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Galatians 5:6​

Because in Christ Jesus, having circumcision or not having circumcision are equally of no profit; but only faith working through love.

Without Love it is impossible to please God. It is your Love that transforms your works into an acceptable offering pleasing onto the Lord.

Acts 13:22 "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all my will." David isn't perfect but he is passionate to please God, by being truthful and repentant. His life reflects a passion for God himself. God takes delight when you pursue after Him. You do not need to be perfect to be a man after God' own heart. Our prayer is a desire to have a heart after God's own heart. A heart that obeys.

Praise God. We need to look at reality to discover what God is like. JESUS CHRIST, our Lord demonstrated agape, divine love to all humanity. So God is love. "We love because God first loved us. If we say we love God, but hate our brothers and sisters, we are liars. For people cannot love God, whom they have not seen, if they do not love their brothers and sisters, whom they have seen. The command that Christ has given us is this: all who love God must love their brothers and sisters also. 1John 4:16,19-21. Amen
