The persistent sextortionist is still here

Fyriosrath

Disciple of Prayer
I am beginning to feel tired and worn out again. The sextortionist is back with determination.

It seems that he only has to make a threat to my Lady friend regarding the exposition of video footages and pictures and she runs to the living room and shuts herself away. Indeed today he called her in the early morning and she has spent to whole day shut away and has not spoken to anyone all day.

Please I ask you all to help me in prayer, I really am feeling drained both physically and spiritually. I have carried this burden for some three years now.
PLEASE LORD JESUS RENEW MY STRENGTH.

I know that the LORD JESUS would not have assigned to this task if I could not succeed in bringing about his VICTORY.... Please help me ....

We hear your cry and we stand with you in this long and exhausting battle that you have carried for three years, and we thank you for calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus for renewal and victory.

We understand how draining it is to face a persistent evil that uses fear and threats to control and isolate. What this sextortionist is doing is wicked and God sees it clearly. This is not just a struggle against a man but against evil itself, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The Lord hates such exploitation and oppression, and He is a refuge for the oppressed. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, He will repay Romans 12:19, and He has also ordained authorities to restrain evil, for he is a servant of God to you for good Romans 13:4.

We also want to lovingly address what you have shared about your lady friend and these video footages and pictures. If these images involve sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we must speak the truth in love that God calls us to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. Sex is a gift given by God to be enjoyed only within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, and any sexual activity outside of that is fornication which God calls sin. If there has been sin in this area, we encourage you both to bring it before the Lord in repentance, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. God offers forgiveness and cleansing through Jesus Christ and He also calls us to walk henceforth in purity. If this lady friend is someone you are pursuing romantically, we encourage you to pursue that relationship as godly courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, honoring God with holiness and self control. If she is simply a dear friend or sister in Christ, continue to support her as a brother in Christ with pure and protective love.

We see how this threat causes her to shut herself away in fear and not speak to anyone all day. That isolation is exactly what the enemy wants, but God does not want her or you to suffer alone. Carry one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ Galatians 6:2. We encourage you not to carry this burden alone any longer. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. The exhaustion you feel physically and spiritually is real, and the Lord knows your weariness. Jesus said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might Isaiah 40:29. Those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint Isaiah 40:31. Even when we feel we have no strength left, His grace is sufficient, for my power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9.

We urge you in practical love to take steps of wisdom alongside prayer. Do not give in to the threats or send anything further to this person, preserve all evidence of calls and messages, block contact where possible, and report this crime to law enforcement and to a trusted pastor or Christian counselor who can walk with you both in person. Encourage your lady friend gently not to remain shut away in shame, but to come into the light with safe, godly support, for you are not alone and there is no shame so great that the blood of Jesus cannot cover it. Do not let fear rule, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

We join our faith with yours and pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to Your throne Acts 4:12. We thank You that our brother has called upon Jesus and we ask You to renew his strength today as he has asked. Lord, he is tired and worn out from carrying this heavy burden for so long, lift him up on eagles wings and give him rest. Let him feel Your presence as his refuge and strength. We pray for this dear lady who is so frightened that she hides herself away, Lord touch her with Your perfect love that casts out fear, comfort her heart, break the power of shame and intimidation over her, and surround her with godly protection and counsel. We rebuke the wicked work of this sextortionist, we ask You to expose his deeds, stop his threats, and bring him to justice and to repentance if it be Your will. Put a hedge of protection around Your children, guard their minds and hearts, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Give wisdom to know what steps to take, courage to involve the proper authorities, and perseverance to not grow weary in doing good Galatians 6:9. Let Your victory be manifest, for You have already overcome the world, and we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. Restore joy, peace and strength, and let this long trial end in a testimony of Your deliverance. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We hear how heavy these three years have been, and it makes sense you feel tired and worn out. Living under repeated threats is exhausting, and watching your lady friend become frightened and withdraw after those calls would burden anyone who cares for her.

When stress is unrelenting and you feel responsible for another person's safety, it can slowly drain your physical and spiritual reserves. Feeling depleted after carrying this so long is not a failure on your part, it is a sign you need support and rest, not just more resolve.

You do not have to carry this alone. With sextortion that persists, it helps to bring trusted others into the situation with you. If you have not already, consider reaching out to a pastor or counselor you trust and to local law enforcement for guidance on documenting the threats, limiting contact, and protecting both of you. Having someone walk alongside you can also help your friend feel less isolated when fear makes her pull away, and it gives you both a steadier place to make decisions from.

We are holding you both before the Lord now.

Father, we lift this brother who is weary in body and spirit, and his friend who is afraid. Cover them with Your care, give them wisdom for each next step, and renew their strength day by day. Provide safe, trustworthy people to stand with them and remind them they are not alone. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your cry and we join you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our strength. To carry such a weight for three years, to feel drained both physically and spiritually, and to watch one you care for shut herself away in fear, is indeed wearying to the soul. The Lord knows your weariness and He hears the prayer, renew my strength.

Scripture gives a precious promise for such an hour, As thy days, so shall thy strength be. This is not strength in yourself, but strength in the Lord. When there remains no strength in you, nor any ability of any kind, then is the time to fling yourself upon Divine strength and lay hold upon it. The child of God when strengthened by God is kept in quiet trust, his heart fixed, trusting in the Lord, and in that quietude lies deliverance from fret and faint. Do not look to your own resolve to bring about victory, but look with a poor sinner's tearful eyes to the sinner's Saviour, simply and alone, at the foot of the Cross. There every attribute of God is cheering, there mercy and power meet for your help.

This cruel oppression of sextortion is a work of darkness, and we are told that God has delivered us from the power of darkness. Satan is the prince of that power and uses fear and shame as his instruments. To be delivered from that power is not by any easy work or hasty word, but by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, through the great redemption of the Lord Jesus and the power of His Spirit. He can deal with sinners and with sufferers when they are on the very brink, when the soil slips from under their feet, and rescue them to the praise of His grace. What is needed now is to walk in the light and not in hiding. We urge you, for the sake of conscience and safety, to bring this matter fully into the light before lawful authorities, to preserve evidence, to have no further private dealings with the one who extorts, and to seek the immediate help of a trusted pastor and godly counsel in person. Fear thrives in isolation, and the response of shutting away and not speaking all day, while understandable, gives the enemy more ground. Perfect love casts out fear, and fellowship in the light is part of God's appointed means of deliverance.

We must also speak plainly in love concerning the path of holiness. God has given marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He calls His people to keep sex and living together within that covenant. Any intimacy outside of it, including the making or keeping of sexual images, stands outside His design and gives occasion for the shame and bondage you now feel. We cannot ask God to bless what He calls us to turn from, but we can and do ask Him to lead both of you into repentance, forgiveness through the blood of Christ, and a new walk in purity. If you are living together outside of marriage, we encourage you to separate households until such time as you may enter that covenant rightly before God, or to pursue that covenant in an orderly and holy way with pastoral guidance. What is done in darkness must be confessed and forsaken, and Christ is ready to wash thoroughly and cleanse from all sin those who look unto Him and are saved.

Let this be your consolation in the trial. Does the Lord permit this smiting, then remember the days when He caressed you. Have you been in troubles before and has He brought you out, then He who brought you out before will bring you out again. They set out to go to the land of Canaan and to the land of Canaan they came, and if you are resting upon the blood of Christ and depending upon His eternal merit, He shall surely bring you in.

We pray with you now.

Lord Jesus Christ, Thou alone art Saviour and Lord, and there is none else. We bring before Thee our brother weary and worn, and the woman who is so afraid. Thou seest the threats, the shame, the three long years of burden. Deliver them from the power of darkness and from the hand of the oppressor. Grant to our brother as his days, so shall his strength be, physical strength, mental strength and spiritual strength, each as the trial demands. Lift the fear that causes hiding, and give courage to walk in the light, to confess sin where sin has been, to receive Thy forgiveness, and to forsake what is unholy. Give wisdom to take right and lawful steps, and surround them with faithful pastors and friends who will watch and help. Let them look unto Thee and be saved, and find that Thou hast given commandment to save them. Restore a quiet heart fixed, trusting in the Lord, and let them live to declare the works of the Lord. We ask this not for our own victory, but for Thy victory and Thy glory. Amen.
