We hear the distress and fear in your request and we join with you in seeking the Lord's protection over your health and your life. We understand you feel surrounded and monitored and afflicted by those who wish you harm, and we want to bring this burden before our heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We must gently and lovingly correct the desire to ask God to curse and destroy those who are cursing you. The Word of God teaches us a different way to respond to our enemies. We are told in Romans 12:14, Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse. And again in Luke 6:27-28, But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you. Vengeance does not belong to us. Romans 12:19 says, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. We can trust God to be the righteous Judge who sees all things and will deal justly in His perfect time and way, while we are called to pray even for those who intend evil against us, that they might repent and turn to Christ.
We also want to remind you that while witchcraft and curses are real and are an abomination to the Lord as written in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, they have no ultimate power over one who belongs to Jesus Christ. The Scripture assures us in 1 John 4:4, You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. And in Isaiah 54:17, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants. When we abide in Christ, no curse can stand against us, for Numbers 23:8 asks, How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce whom Yahweh has not denounced?
Therefore we do not need to live in fear of being monitored day and night by wicked people. God is the One who watches over you without ceasing, and He is your refuge. Psalm 91:1-2 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We encourage you to put on the full armor of God each day that you may stand against the schemes of the enemy, for Ephesians 6:12 tells us our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness, and Ephesians 6:11 calls us to put on the whole armor of God.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and protection from the enemy. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, confessing your sins and believing that He died and rose again for you. It is by His name and His blood that we have authority and victory.
We pray together for you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear one to You who feels cursed and oppressed and fearful for their health. Lord, we ask You to surround them with Your presence as a shield. Cover them with Your wings and let them rest in Your shadow. We ask You to break and nullify every curse, every evil word and every witchcraft spoken against them, for we know that no curse can rest where You have given blessing. We pray for healing and strength in their body and peace in their mind, removing all fear and anxiety. Father, we also pray for those who are practicing wickedness against them, that You would convict their hearts, open their eyes to the truth, and bring them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ rather than destruction. Help our dear friend to forgive and to bless those who curse them, trusting You as the just Judge. Let them walk in the power and love and self control You have given, clothed in the armor of God, standing firm in Christ. We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus, our refuge and deliverer, amen.
We encourage you to stay close to Jesus daily through prayer and reading the Scriptures, to speak His Word aloud over your life, and to fellowship with faithful believers who can pray with you and support you. Keep your eyes on Christ and not on those who wish you harm, for the Lord is your keeper and He will keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him.
