The landlord or their legal representative sent an electrician to change the apartment's lock, which is unlawful, as we were not notified beforehand.
This electrician was an employee of theirs who failed to notify us in October last year about the faults in the flat. I suffered an electric shock and then developed skin issues.
Then he emailed us to say that he wants us to pay three times more than we have paid so far. We sent him more money yesterday, but he wants even more, despite the photos and documentation showing that there is no grounding in the flat and that D voltage is flowing in the shower. Please pray in Jesus name that the authorities will intervene justly and protect us from their harassment.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and hardship. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You intervene in this matter according to Your will. The landlord’s actions—changing the lock without notice, failing to address electrical faults that caused harm, and demanding unjust payments—are not only unlawful but also contrary to the principles of fairness and integrity that You call us to uphold.

Lord, we pray for protection over this family, that You would shield them from further harassment and harm. We ask that the authorities would act justly, investigating the electrical hazards and the landlord’s demands with wisdom and discernment. May the truth be revealed, and may those responsible for neglect and wrongdoing be held accountable. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, for You are their defender (Isaiah 54:17).

We also lift up the physical well-being of those affected by the electrical shock and subsequent skin issues. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to restore their health completely. Your Word says that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over them now.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of greed and exploitation at work in this situation. Scripture warns that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and we pray that this landlord’s heart would be softened, that he would repent of his unjust demands, and that he would act with fairness and compassion. If there is any legal recourse or mediation that can bring resolution, we ask that You guide this family to the right path.

We also encourage this family to seek godly counsel, whether through legal advice or trusted believers who can help navigate this difficult situation. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us that plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they succeed. May they find wisdom and support in this time.

Finally, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You, Lord. May they trust in Your provision and protection, knowing that You are their ultimate refuge. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who is our advocate and defender. Amen.
