THE MILLENNIAL KINGDOM OF CHRIST

CHRIST TAKES POSSESSION OF THE EARTH
After the great tribulation Christ will come back to the earth to end the wicked regime of the antichrist and his henchmen. Under the leadership of this satanic world dictator millions of people are killed for refusing to worship him and his image. The earth is ravaged from war, famine, plagues, death and destruction. At His return to the earth Christ has Satan bound and imprisoned in the bottomless pit for the duration of the millennium, defeats the armies of the antichrist and throws the captured antichrist and false prophet alive into the lake of fire (Rev. 19:11-21).
CHRIST OUR NEW KING
Christ, along with His saints, takes over the rulership of the earth and establishes the kingdom of God (Isa. 11:9; 45:23,24; Phil. 2:10). Jesus Christ will rule from Jerusalem, also called Zion, which will become the Capitol of the world (Ps. 2:4-9; Zech. 2:10-12; 8:3; 21-23). Christ will receive the throne of King David in Jerusalem becoming our supreme ruler and king over all the earth. The kingdom of Christ will be an everlasting kingdom that will consume and break in pieces all the former inferior corrupt kingdoms and governments (Dan. 2:44; 7:13-14; Lk. 1:32,33).
CHRIST RULES EARTH WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE
Christ our mighty God and King will rule over the earth with a rod of iron. The Lord will rule the earth from the throne of David in the city of Jerusalem. His kingdom will be established with judgment and justice. No more injustice and oppression will be tolerated. All nations, kings and people on earth will serve Christ (Isa. 56:6-8; Dan. 7:14) Christ will abolish all idolatry and false religion and the people of the earth will serve and worship the true God of the Bible (Zeph. 2:11). Christ will rebuke the nations and they will turn there war implements into farming equipment. There will be no more wars on the earth. It will be a time when peace and righteousness will envelope the earth. The Lord will reign with judgment and righteousness from mount Zion and He will be our righteous Judge, Lawgiver and King (Isa. 16:5; 33:5,22). The people of the earth will finally have world peace. There will be justice for all when Gods laws are obeyed. It will be a time when God’s laws are established over the earth and the people will become happy and prosperous (Rev. 2:27; 12:5; 19:15).
ISRAELS ROLE DURING THE MILLENNIUM
Christ will re-establish, heal, cleanse, and restore the nation of Israel. God will purge and cleanse the Jewish people of their sins and they will become holy. God will give them a new heart and the Holy Spirit. The people of Israel will become holy, Spirit-filled, people who have His laws written in their hearts (Ezek. 36:23-28; Isa. 4:4; Zeph. 3:13; Zech. 14:20,21). Jerusalem will become a holy city instead of a place of unrest as it is today (Joel 3:17). Christ will set up his sanctuary and tabernacle there and teach the nations how to serve Him (Isa. 17:7; Zeph. 3:9,10). Israelite missionaries will be commissioned to evangelize the nations for Christ (Isa. 42:1-6; 49:6; 66:18,19). Gods favor will extend from the Jewish people to the nations of the Gentiles (Zech. 8:20-23; 14:16). The nation of Israel will no longer be hated by other nations but will become preeminent over them and will become one of the most prosperous nations on earth (Isa. 14:2; 27:6; 60:4; 10-16; 61:5,6; 66:12; Ezek. 17:22,23). Israel will rule over all the nations that formerly oppressed them (Isa. 14:1,2; 45:14). The 12 Apostles of Christ will be given 12 thrones from which they will judge the 12 tribes of Israel. These 12 men will be the elected Judges that Christ will restore to the tribes of Israel (Isa. 1:26; Mt. 19:28; Lk. 12:32; 22:28-29). These 12 men will govern the tribes of Israel like the ancient Judges of Israel who were the faithful commissioned agents of God who were divinely appointed and Spirit-led to ensure that Gods laws and principles were administered to His people for their best welfare. All the nations of the world will look to the people of Israel for spiritual guidance and understanding (Zech. 8:21-23).
THE SAINTS POSSESS THE KINGDOM FOREVER
The resurrected and raptured saints, those who remained loyal and obedient to Christ, will be given power over the nations during the millennial reign of Christ on earth (Dan. 7:18; Rev. 1:6; 2:26,27; 3:21). The tribulation martyrs and all who did not take the mark of the beast or worship the beast or his image will live and reign with Christ for 1000 years. They will be Priests of God and Christ and they will be the immortal servants of Christ over the nations. They will be given the power and authority to judge the world (Dan. 7;22,23; Lk. 20:35,36; 1 Cor. 6:2,3; Rev. 5:9-10; 20:4-6). The saints will not only reign with Christ but they will be elevated to the highest positions in the millennial kingdom and be given a place to sit with Christ on His throne at Jerusalem (2 Tim. 2:12; Rev. 3:21). Gods elected will rule in righteousness (Ps. 72).
WHAT LIFE WILL BE LIKE
Under the millennial reign of Christ the people of the earth will be happy and peaceful (Isa. 12:1-6; 35:10; 38:20; 51:3). Universal peace will be established under God’s laws and there will be no more wars or corrupt governments (Ps. 46:9; Isa. 2:4,5; 10:13-15; 32:1-5; Hos. 2:18; Micah 4:3,4). God will wipe away the tears from the faces of his people and they will be sad no more (Isa. 25:8). All the people will know the Lord and be taught His laws (Isa. 2:1-4; Zech. 14:21; Heb. 8:11). Gods Spirit will be poured out on His people and all false doctrines and religions will be abandoned as people come to spiritual enlightenment and learn the truth (Isa. 17:7,8; 29:17-24; 44:3). The righteous laws of God will overthrow all forms of pride, oppression, evil-doing and dishonesty (Isa. 2:11;17; 16:1-5; 24:21,22; Zeph. 3:11). It will be a time of healing and restoration in righteousness for the people of the earth (Isa. 1:25-27; 10:20-23; 26:7-9; 35:8; 45:8; 51:4-7;Mal. 4:2). The curse will be lifted from the earth and the earth will again flourish like the Garden of Eden. The earth will become a fruitful paradise and the desolate places and the deserts will spring forth with new life (Isa. 35:1; 41:18,19; 51:3; 55:13). All of the wild and ferocious animals will be tame and gentle and they will not hurt anyone (Isa. 11:6-9; Ezek. 34:25,28; Hos. 2:20). The duration of life will be greatly increased for those people who are on the earth when Jesus sets up His millennial kingdom. People will be healthy and they will live much longer lives than today (Isa. 33:24; 65:20-25). People will enjoy the work of their hands and prosper as they build houses, plant gardens, and bear children (Isa. 30:23-25; 49:10: Amos 9:13,14; Zech. 3:10; 8:12). People will rejoice as they praise and glorify God for all of these wonderful blessings under the reign of Christ (Isa. 42:10-12; 43:21).
THE FINAL APOSTASY
Although Satan has been unable to tempt people some will still sin against Christ (Isa. 11:14; 65:20-23; Zech. 14:17-19). Unfortunately when Satan is released from his prison he will go out to deceive the nations to recruit as many as he can in his attempt to try to defeat Christ and take over the kingdom. The devil will persuade and deceive a numerous multitude of people to join him in his final war against Christ and his people. Satan’s army will be defeated by supernatural fire from God out of heaven and their captain, the devil, who deceived them will be captured and cast into the lake of fire forever (Rev. 20: 7-10). Friends do not ever allow the devil to steal away your salvation and happiness in Christ in this life or during the millennium. For with Christ your eternal happiness is just beginning!
