THE LOVE OF CHRIST
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:16-19
Do you know God's amazing love today? Have you thought about being rooted deep into God's love? The scripture in Ephesians Chapter 3, is one of Paul's prayers that talks about having power with other Christians to grasp or understand how wide, long, high and deep is the love of Christ. I pray that as you read the above scripture you will meditate on it and make it to be one of your scriptures to personalize and pray with your name, your spouse’s name and children’s name in it.
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7
You and I need to desire to comprehend how wide, how long and how deep is the love of Christ that actually is immeasurable. Christ's love extends around the world to all people throughout the ages, even at the most desperate and lowest times in a person's life. Jesus Christ's love also extends to the highest Heavens. February is often thought of as a month of love so may I suggest you pray that your beloved husband or wife and all family members will come to know the love of Christ and be filled to the measure of the fullness of God.
Are you battling loneliness and not feeling loved today? Do not allow the enemy to tell you a lie that you are not loved! God loves you. You may be feeling many other emotions today instead of love. You may be overwhelmed by your circumstances or financial pressure or dealing with the many different problems that you may be having with your children who may not hear from or even see their other parent regularly. What has your child/children done to be so rejected? Nothing. The enemy, Satan, is not just attacking your marriage, but he is also attacking your children. That is why we hate divorce and want you to pray for their salvation and deliverance of your spouse from Satan’s prison of deception and believing Satan’s lies.
Never forget that our Lord God will never leave you or forsake you. If you love the Lord, He will rescue you from your storms of life.
“Because he loves me,†says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.†Psalm 91:14-16
Will you receive God's love today and embrace it, thanking and praising your Lord for His unconditional love for you, right now? Will you walk in God's love every day with those you have contact with, walking in and radiating God's love? Then in God's perfect timing, others will want to know why you are different and you can share God's love by sharing the Gospel of your Lord Jesus Christ.
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.†John 15:12-13
My prayer is that as we pray in agreement with other standers around the world, the Lord will move the mountain of circumstances and resurrect, rekindle, reignite and restore your marriage this month of love, suddenly. May you and I pray in agreement that all couples who are having troubles at home will recommit their hearts to each other within the next several days and agree to work on their marriage. Then let us pray that they will want to put God into their hearts and lives and their family will start going to church for the first time or return to attending a Bible believing church.
My prayer for you today is for you to personally experience God's abounding love and faithfulness. Tell your Lord God that you want to be rooted and established in His love, knowing His power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses our own knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
The Lord wants to be first place in your life, not as a guest or a visitor, but permanently. Where is the Lord in your life? How often do you spend time with Him? How often do you pray? Have you surrendered your heart, life and marriage to the Lord? Ask the Lord to pour His amazing love on you right now, so you can experience His love and His Presence with you every day as you pray and cry out for the Lord's healing touch on your life and on your marriage.
