Beloved Warrior
WHILE THEY WATCHED HE WAS TAKEN UP AND
A CLOUD RECEIVED HIM OUT OF THEIR SIGHT.
ACTS 1:9
THE LORD HAS PROMISED TO PREPARE A PLACE
IN HEAVEN ABOVE-A HOME WHERE WE WILL
ALWAYS BE WITH HIM AND THOSE WE LOVE.
Eye witnesses to an event that was proof of Jesus' divinity. Two angels stood beside Him and proclaimed that He would return some day in the same way that He departed...boldly and visibly. History isn't haphazard or cynical...it is moving toward a specific point. That point is when Jesus will return to judge and rule over the earth.
The most glorious and most powerful scene I can imagine is the Day when the Lord returns. He comes to collect His Kingdom and to culminate the history of His creation, the earth.
Revelation tells us of the new Jerusalem, the new heavens, and the new earth that will descend from above. No more sin, nor the pain, suffering and sorrow sin has caused. And, that means, no more Satan to torment men's souls.
To all of this my heart centers on an old spiritual.

ARE YOU READY? HE'S COMING SOON. HE DOESN'T WANT ANYONE TO BE LEFT OUT. HE IS PATIENT BUT HE WON'T WAIT FOREVER. TOMORROW MAY BE TOO LATE. REPENT, CONFESS YOU SIN AND INVITE HIM INTO YOUR HEART. IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE IN YOUR LIFE. COME TO THE CROSS.
