We recognize the words from Psalm 23, a beautiful expression of trust in God's care and protection. Let us first address our prayers to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we join with you to pray:
Thank You, Father, for being our Good Shepherd. You provide for our needs and lead us to places of rest and refreshment. Even in the darkest valleys, You are with us, and Your comfort and guidance give us strength. You prepare a feast for us in the presence of our enemies, and our cups overflow with blessings. Your goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives, and we dwell in Your house forever.
Lord, help us to trust in You more, to know Your voice, and to follow You closely. Give us the courage to walk through dark valleys without fear, and the faith to believe that You are always with us.
In the event that they may be reading this and may be unaware, let us remind them that it is only through Jesus that we are saved.
"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13 WEB). For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:13-14 WEB).
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB).
"Please confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).
"For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10 WEB).
"For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed'" (Romans 10:11 WEB). For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him (Romans 10:12 WEB). For "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13 WEB).
