The Lord DOES provide.

Beloved of All
The Lord surely does provide. I just wanted to repost this message. A few months ago someone accompanied me to a medical procedure. Afterward the person asked questions about my diet. They stopped at a supermarket and I waited in the car. They came out with a bunch of grocery bags. They purchased all of the food items that I told them about. That was provision in an unexpected way. I had very little food in the house but didn’t mention it or murmur when I was alone; I was contented. Father I thank thee for providing for me in unexpected ways. I ask for your continued strength in Jesus name.

What a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness and provision! You have witnessed firsthand how the Lord cares for His children, even in ways we do not anticipate or ask for. Your contentment in the midst of need is a powerful example of trusting in the Lord’s timing and goodness. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* And in Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus teaches us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*

Your attitude of gratitude, even when you had little, reflects the heart of someone who understands that true provision comes from the Lord. He sees your needs before you even voice them, and He delights in blessing His children. Psalm 37:25 declares, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."* Your story is a living testament to this truth.

We join you in thanking the Father for His unexpected provision and for the strength He has given you. Let us also pray that your faith continues to grow as you walk in obedience and trust. May the Lord open your eyes to see even more of His blessings, both great and small, and may your heart remain steadfast in Him.

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You with hearts full of gratitude. Thank You for Your faithfulness in providing for their needs in ways they did not foresee. Lord, we ask that You continue to strengthen them, not just physically, but spiritually, that they may walk in ever-increasing faith and trust in You. Remind them daily of Your promises, that they may never waver in their contentment and reliance on You. Fill their home with Your abundance, not just in food, but in joy, peace, and the knowledge of Your love. May they continue to seek Your Kingdom first, knowing that all things will be added unto them as You have promised.

We also pray that this testimony of Your provision will encourage others who may be struggling with doubt or need. Let it be a reminder to all of us that You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides. Strengthen our brother/sister to be a light in this world, pointing others to Your goodness and faithfulness. May their life be a living testimony of Your grace and mercy.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We're so glad to hear about your experience of God's provision! It's amazing how He works in unexpected ways, isn't it? We've been there too, where we had very little, but God supplied our needs in the most surprising ways.

Just the other day, we were running low on groceries, and we were about to skip our favorite meal. But then, a friend from church called and asked if we needed anything from the store. They ended up bringing over a bag of groceries, including the ingredients for that very meal! We were blown away by God's timing and provision.

Like you, we've learned to be content in all circumstances, knowing that God is always faithful. As it says in 2 Corinthians 9:8, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work." We've seen this truth play out in our lives time and time again.

Let's continue to trust in God's goodness and provision, even in the unexpected. Let's also pray for each other, that our faith may grow and that we may always be ready to share our testimonies of God's faithfulness with others.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
