The landlord does not know the value of love

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name that his empty heart is filled with the love of God❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ He is blind to the love of God 🙁

We lift up this landlord before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to open his eyes to the boundless love of God. Scripture tells us, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). It is the heart of our Father that none should remain in darkness, and so we pray earnestly for this man, that the scales would fall from his eyes and he would see the love of Christ in all its fullness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would soften this landlord’s heart and fill the emptiness within him with Your perfect love. Lord, Your Word declares, "We love him, because he first loved us" (1 John 4:19 WEB). Let this truth take root in his life. Break through the hardness of his heart, Lord, and let him experience the depth of Your mercy and grace. May he come to know You not just as a distant concept, but as a loving Father who sent His Son to die for him (John 3:16).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who interact with him. May they reflect Your love in their words and actions, so that he might see Christ in them and be drawn to You. Father, we rebuke any spirit of hardness or blindness that may be keeping him from You. In Jesus’ name, we command it to flee, for "the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB). But we know that You are greater, Lord, and that Your light can pierce even the darkest heart.

We ask that You would surround him with believers who can testify to Your love and truth. Let him hear the Gospel clearly and respond with faith. May he come to repentance and experience the joy of salvation, for "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). We trust in Your power to transform lives, Lord, and we wait expectantly for Your work in him.

In all these things, we pray that Your will be done, and that Your name would be glorified. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’ve been praying with you for your landlord, asking the Lord to meet him right where he is, with a love he may not yet recognize. It’s a heavy thing to carry a concern like this for someone, and we’re grateful you’re lifting him up in Jesus’ name.

Noticing another person’s emptiness can feel like a burden, but it’s also a quiet kind of mercy. The heart truly is the wellspring of life, and only a real, living connection with Jesus can fill what’s hollow with something whole. So we’re asking God to do what only He can: to remove the blinders and let His own love break in.

As you keep bringing him before God, perhaps there’s also room for a gentle, steady kindness on your end. Not a sermon, not a confrontation, just the small, ordinary things that reflect the very love you’re praying for him to receive. A plate of cookies, a genuine “how are you?” that expects nothing back, a bit of patience with rent or noise. These simple acts can, over time, crack open a heart that feels far away. They don’t save anyone, but they can become a quiet echo of the Love that does.

We’ll keep standing with you in prayer.

Lord Jesus, You see this landlord’s heart and You know the emptiness he may not even name. Break through whatever keeps him blind to Your love, and fill him with the life and light only You can give. Stir his heart to hunger for something more, and meet him in ways he cannot ignore. Give our friend here courage and grace to keep praying, and to be a steady, warm presence that reflects Your kindness. In Your powerful name, Amen.

You have watched him, and it has made your spirit ache, to see a soul so close, yet so far from the one thing that makes life life. You have had dealings with this man over rent and repairs, and you have glimpsed behind the business a great vacancy, a heart that does not know what it was made for. It troubles you, and that very trouble is a thing to thank God for, because it means your own heart has been touched by the love you wish he knew.

The blindness you speak of is real. A man may see the roof over his head, the ledger in his hand, and the tenant at his door, and yet never see the hand that holds all things. The natural heart has no window toward God. It can take in a world of facts and duties and still miss the one great Fact that stands behind them all, that Jehovah is God, and that His name is Love. You cannot argue a soul into that discovery any more than you can reason a stone into a spring. Only He who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” can shine into that dim room and make a man know in his heart what before he only heard with his ears. That is our hope for your landlord, and it is a strong hope, because it rests not on the man’s seeking but on the Lord’s seeking. The great Husbandman does not wait for the soil to soften itself; He sends the rain and breaks the clods. So we may pray with confidence that He will direct a heart that to us seems hard as a pavement.

Do not think that the emptiness you see in him is too deep for filling. Have you never noticed how Scripture delights to work with empty vessels? The widow in the prophet’s day had nothing in the house but a pot of oil, and that little pot was the seed of a harvest that paid all her debts and kept her sons alive. Emptiness is the very thing God chooses to work upon, because then there is no rival claimant to His glory. Your landlord may be full of business and full of self, but as for the love of God, his heart is an empty jar, and empty jars are what the Lord fills. He does not ask us to bring a brimming cup; He asks us to bring the void, the need, the poverty. The man who thinks he has no need of a physician is harder to reach than the one who knows he is sick, but even the proud and blind are not beyond the surgery of the Spirit. He who formed the eye can clear it.

So do not let your prayers grow weary. Every sigh for this man’s soul is a little whisper that has its echo in the Father’s heart. The Lord knows how to make a love letter find its way into a hand that would never reach for it. He can slip a thought through the cracks of a busy day, a sudden wonder, a momentary pang of loneliness in the midst of plenty. He can make a man look at the house he owns and ask, for the first time, whose house it really is, and who keeps his breath in his nostrils. When that moment comes, when the soul begins to feel that there is a Landlord above all landlords, to whom all accounts must be rendered, then the empty heart will learn what it has been missing. And what it has been missing is no distant lawgiver but a Father who says, “My son, give Me your heart.” He does not need our hearts to make Himself richer; He wants them because He wants sons and daughters, and the love of a returned child is a treasure to Him beyond all the cattle on a thousand hills.

May the Lord direct this man’s heart, then, into a wide, sweet, personal discovery of that love. And may He steady your own heart while you wait and pray. You are not sending up arrows into the dark; you are speaking to One who hears, and who once drew you with cords you could not see. The same hand is not shortened.

Let us ask Him now.

Lord Jesus, Thou who once did stand at the door of every shut heart and still dost knock with a patience that wears out our impatience, look upon this one who knows so little of the worth of love. He does not see that the roof over his head and the ground beneath his feet belong to Thee, and that every mercy he has enjoyed is a love-token from a hand he has never blessed. Fill his empty heart, we pray Thee. Do what only Thou canst do, make him know that Thou art Jehovah, the God of all grace, who delightest not in the death of a sinner but rather that he should turn and live. And while Thou art working in him, comfort Thy child who prays. Let not the waiting be bitter, but let it be a season of quiet trust, resting in the sweet assurance that Thou lovest him far better than we ever could, and that Thou wilt call Thine own out of darkness into marvelous light. We leave this soul and all our burdens in Thy pierced hands. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your landlord before the Lord in prayer. It is a sacred responsibility to stand in agreement with you as we asked our Heavenly Father to soften his heart and fill the emptiness within him with the boundless love of God. We prayed earnestly that the scales would fall from his eyes, allowing him to see and experience the transformative power of Christ’s love in his life.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—if you’ve seen even the smallest shift in his heart, a kind word, or a moment of openness—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report! Please share with us how God is working so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, you haven’t yet seen the answer you’re hoping for, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God is at work even when we cannot yet see it. Let us persist in lifting him up, trusting that the Holy Spirit is drawing him closer to the Father’s heart.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you remain steadfast in seeking Him. May His peace guard your heart, and may His love continue to flow through you as a testimony to those around you. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
