I love God and want to use by him every day more and more. I want God to give me and the whole church of the Lord everywhere this gifts:the gift healing, the gift of speaking and interpreting tongues, More faith, prophesy discerniment and more anoyntment. Lets all pray that we receive all the gifts of the spirit for benefit of the entire world and especially the church for the glory the Lord Jesus Christ. It my seem like our troubles and tribulations are more pressing than this type of prayers, but this type of prayers is the soloutions for our trouble and tribulations

Amy, you have just hit the proverbial nail on the head. Our prayer life, is in proportion to our walk with the Lord. Also, the gifts of the Spirit are the keys to unlocking the gifts of what He has given us so freely. Jesus suffered so much, was beaten so badly that He probably would have died even without the crucifixion, and did all this so that we might be healed by believing and calling out in His name. When He sat down at the right hand side of the Father, He said it is done, His gifts have already been given, it's just up to us to unwrap them and put them to use. I join you in praying for everyone who would to receive these gifts, and for the glory to go to God. I have always been led to the passages where people would sacrifice their sons and daughters to appease their gods. Christianity is the only religion that I have found, where God sacrifices His own Son for us, so that we might live, and live more abundantly. I pray for you to receive all the gifts of the Spirit, and thank Him for providing us salvation for eternal life, and help in this life.
