When you and I fast before Jesus there is hidden sweetness in an empty stomach. It is stuffed full of music from heaven. Because we are obeying Gods word. Fast, pray so you wil not enter into temptation. The fast the the Lord requires is a humble and contrite heart. He will not despise it.

Dear Lord help me to fast beginning tomorrow so I can hear you clearly as I head to the mission field.
Let us all come before the presence of the Lord in fasting and in prayer. He delights to see His dear children praying and getting closer to Him.
