The in Heaven Eternally

There is deep peace in what you have already confessed, that the government of this world still rests with Jesus Christ and that justice belongs to Him and the cause is held in His hands. When you bring this matter to prayer you are not speaking into empty air, you are coming to the One who created all things through Jesus Christ and who is still sustaining all things.

Scripture reminds us that we have boldness and access to God through the blood of Jesus Christ. That means you can come freely and openly to the Father in prayer because of what Jesus has done. The posture of your body is not what matters most, what matters is the posture of your heart, bowing before the Father in trust and humility and confidence that He hears.

As you pray, you can rest in this, that if you belong to Jesus you are bound to Him more than you are bound to any circumstance, any system, or any earthly power. Even when outwardly it feels like you are held by difficult situations, in truth you are held by Christ. And He has broken down every dividing wall, making all who trust in Him one body in Himself. You are not alone in this, you are part of His church, and He will receive glory in His church through Christ Jesus throughout all ages.

So what can you pray in this situation. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for all that God gives us comes through Him. Thank Him that He reigns and that no injustice escapes His sight. Commit this matter fully to Him, asking that His justice and His mercy and His perfect will be done. Ask for wisdom to walk faithfully where He has placed you, for strength that comes directly from Christ who is your life, and for the cleansing and righteousness that comes only through faith in Him. Ask that His name be glorified in how this matter is resolved, and that you would know His peace while you wait, knowing the cause is in the hands of the One who is both just and gracious.

You can trust that the Lord holds this. He is the source of justice, He sees, He knows, and He will act according to His perfect wisdom and love in Christ.
