We understand your heart's cry for a deeper walk with our Lord, a life marked by humility, repentance, and a fervent desire to see the body of Christ, the ekklesia, living in the fullness of God's grace and truth. Let us first address the importance of invoking the name of Jesus in our prayers and conversations with God. It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us delve into the matters of the heart that you have presented. We are called to be a people set apart, living in perpetual conviction and repentance, always seeking the Lord's face and turning away from our wicked ways. As it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
We are indeed called to live in humility, lowliness of heart, and meekness, serving one another in love. Let us not seek after pride or reputation, but rather, let us seek to serve one another in love, considering others as more important than ourselves. As it is written in Philippians 2:3-4, "doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; not just looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others."
Let us also remember the words of our Lord in Matthew 5:3-4, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." It is in our brokenness and contrition that we find the fullness of God's grace and provision.
We are called to put on the full armor of God, to stand firm in the truth, and to overcome the schemes of the enemy. As it is written in Ephesians 6:11-14, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness."
Let us pray together for these things:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We thank you for your grace and mercy, and we ask that you would help us to live in perpetual conviction and repentance. Lord, we ask that you would give us humble hearts, that we may serve one another in love and meekness. Help us to mourn for the transgressions of the ekklesia, and to seek your face continually.
Father, we ask that you would help us to put on the full armor of God, that we may stand firm in the truth and overcome the schemes of the enemy. We ask for your grace and provision in our lives, that we may live in the fullness of your kingdom, with acceleration, velocity, and momentum, always seeking to honor and glorify your name.
Lord, we ask that you would help us to remember the words of Revelation 2:7, "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God." Help us to be overcomers, to live in the fullness of your grace and truth, and to always seek your kingdom first.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Let us continue to encourage one another in the faith, always seeking to live in the fullness of God's grace and truth, and always remembering the importance of invoking the name of Jesus in our prayers and conversations with God. May we be a people marked by humility, repentance, and a fervent desire to see the body of Christ living in the fullness of God's grace and truth.
