We join with you in prayer in the name of Jesus and we thank you for calling on the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His blood that we are redeemed.

We hear your heart crying out for life and strength and normal energy, for favor and joy, for your family and your pets, and for provision through a job and even for the desire of your own 5th wheel trailer, and we bring all of these things before the Lord together. We also hear your desire to stand on Deut 28:13 which says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail, and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you will listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God which we command you today, to observe and to do them.

We gently want to encourage you in how we apply this precious promise. This verse is not a formula to be loosened or spoken into existence a hundred fold to force God to act, but it is a covenant promise given to those who walk in obedience and love for the Lord. Deut 28:1 says It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments which we command you today, that Yahweh your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. The blessing of being the head and not the tail flows from a heart that seeks to obey Him, not from repeating words as an incantation. God hears our declarations when they come from faith and surrender to His will, for Prov 18:21 tells us Death and life are in the power of the tongue, but we must always pray that His will be done and trust His perfect timing and wisdom. We also remember Matt 6:33 which says But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, and Phil 4:19 which says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in Jesus name. We ask You to touch their body and renew their energy and health, for You give power to the faint and to him who has no might You increase strength as spoken in Isa 40:29. We pray that You would grant normal strength and sustained life and vitality each day, that they may serve You with joy. We thank You that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above as James 1:17 tells us, and we ask for Your favor to rest upon them and their household, for Psalm 5:12 says You will bless the righteous, Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield. Fill them with Your joy, for Psalm 16:11 says In your presence is fullness of joy, and Neh 8:10 says the joy of Yahweh is your strength, and let that joy be their earned portion not by works but by Your grace as they walk faithfully with You.

Lord we lift up their family and even their pets to You, for You care for all Your creation and Prov 12:10 says A righteous man respects the life of his animal. Keep them all in Your hand, healthy and safe and surrounded by Your peace. We also bring their desire for work and provision before You. We ask that You would open the door to a good job that provides greatly and allows them to be a good steward, to work heartily as for You and not for men as Col 3:23 instructs, and to be diligent and honest in all things. If it is Your will, provide also the 5th wheel trailer they desire, and help them to use it for good and for Your glory, with contentment and thankfulness, remembering 1 Tim 6:10 warns that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, but that You do delight to give good things to Your children as Psalm 37:4 says Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. We pray that all provision would lead them closer to You and not away from You.

We ask that You help them to walk in obedience and humility, to be the head and not the tail in the way You intend, leading their home in godliness and integrity, and we plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their health, their family, and their future. Let Your will be done in all these things. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect love and wisdom. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily, to read His Word, to pray, and to obey His voice, and to trust that as you do, He will establish your steps as Prov 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Keep seeking Him first, and rest in His favor and joy.

We hear how much you want steadiness in your life, normal energy, joy that stays, favor and provision for you and your family and your pets, and meaningful work that provides well. Wanting to live as the head and not the tail, to walk with dignity and purpose, is a good and understandable desire.

We are standing with you in prayer for that steadiness and for God's clear leading in the practical areas you named, especially work and housing. While we trust God to provide, we also know He often guides us step by step as we do the next wise thing. One simple step that can help is to write down one or two concrete actions for the week, like reaching out to a trusted contact about work, or making a short list of what you need in a job and a place to live, and then bringing that list to God each day and to one wise person who knows you.

You also mentioned wanting your energy to be normal. If that continues to be a concern, we encourage you to see your doctor alongside prayer, just to make sure you are cared for well.

Father, we lift our friend and their family and pets to You. We ask for Your peace and joy to rest on their home, for wisdom and open doors for work, and for strength for each day. Guide their steps and remind them they are valued and seen by You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord with care. You have asked for health and normal strength, for joy and favor to remain in your life, for good to rest upon your family and even upon your pets, and for honest provision through work and a home, speaking of a fifth wheel trailer, and you have laid hold upon that word in Deuteronomy, that the Lord would make you the head and not the tail.

It is good to desire the blessing of God, yet we must understand what that blessing truly is. The Scripture teaches that no spiritual blessing comes to any man by chance, and that every true blessing comes from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. The promise you have quoted was spoken to Israel under the covenant at Sinai, only if you carefully listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and it pointed to a life of obedience under the law. We who are in Christ are not made blessed by repeating a verse as though to loosen its power a hundred fold, but by being in Christ Himself, in whom the Father has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. He has blessed us just where we needed blessing, where we were poorest in spiritual things.

This is why the greatest blessing is not first a trailer or a larger income, though God does give daily bread, but the Presence of God Himself, a new heart and a new spirit within, the taking away of the stony heart out of our flesh, and cleansing from all our filthiness and from all our idols through the blood of Jesus. That blood is not a formula to obtain goods, but the precious expiation by which justice is satisfied and grace is revealed, by which sinners are received and cleansed and made fit to walk in His statutes. Favor and joy are not earned by being a good thing, for grace and peace are gifts, and we ascribe the whole of our salvation to infinite love, undeserved favor and the unceasing faithfulness of our covenant God.

Therefore we would have you first bless God, and keep on blessing Him from the first to the last, for it should be our life to bless Him who gave us our life. And when He has blessed you, remember the second blessing given to Abraham, I will bless you, and you shall be a blessing. The Lord fills His people that they may overflow with blessing to those around them, in the home, in the workplace, wherever He has placed them.

We pray for you now to that end.

O Eternal God, our refuge and our abiding place, we thank You that You are a shelter in a thousand ways. We ask in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that You would grant to this dear soul and to the family and household entrusted to them, health and needful strength, a contented and joyful heart, and a sense of Your Presence which is better than wealth. Grant cleansing and forgiveness through the blood of Christ, a new heart and a right spirit, and grace to walk in Your ways. Provide, according to Your wisdom and goodness, honest work and daily provision, a suitable dwelling and all things needful for life and godliness, and teach contentment and diligence therein. Let Your grace and peace rest upon them, and make them, by Your mighty grace, a blessing to others, that every true testimony to Christ in their life may bring glory to You. We ask not from merit, but from mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and I join you in prayer for you, your family and even your pets that God has entrusted to your care.

You have asked that Deuteronomy 28:13 would be true in your life, that the Lord would make you the head and not the tail, and that you would know normal energy and health, favor, joy, steady work that provides well, and provision for a fifth wheel trailer. I pray for these needs with you, and I ask God to grant you health in body, peace in mind, and joy that comes from walking closely with Him. I pray He will provide for your family in the way that is best, give you strength for honest work, and help you to use whatever He provides with wisdom and thankfulness.

That verse in Deuteronomy was part of God's promise to Israel when they walked in obedience to His covenant, and its deepest fulfillment is found in Christ. It is not a formula to be loosened or repeated to force a result, but a reminder that God honors those who belong to Him and seek to obey Him. In Christ we have the greatest blessing, which is forgiveness, adoption as His children, and life with Him forever, and from that place we can trust Him for our daily needs.

Scripture teaches us to make provision for the flesh for health, not to fulfill its lusts. As it is written, we are to care for the body so that it may be healthy and able to serve God, not to kindle wanton desire or to live for excess. To use a little wine for the stomach's sake is given as an example of caring for health. In the same way, to pray for normal energy, for a sound mind, for food and shelter and work is good and right. But we are called to prune away what leads to vanity and to spend our chief labor on spiritual things, for this present life is like a sleep and its riches pass like dreams. Only what is done in Christ remains.

So I pray that God will grant you renewed strength and steadiness, that He will guard your health, restore your joy, and give you contentment in Him whether much or little. I pray He will open a good and honest job to you, that you may work diligently and provide for your household, and if it is His will to provide a trailer or other provision, that He will do so in His timing and help you steward it well. Above all I pray that you would know the blood of Jesus not as a phrase to claim things, but as the true ground of your salvation, by which your sins are forgiven and you have access to the Father.

May the Lord keep you and your family, give you wisdom, keep you from anxiety, and teach you to seek first His kingdom, trusting that He knows what you need and will add what is best in His perfect love. I commit you to His grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
