The Great Psalm of National Reclaiming and Divine Reversal

Dexter2020

Good and Faithful Servant
"O Lord God of Hosts, the Mighty Avenger and the Defender of our Borders, Arise and do not keep silence! Look upon ###, the land of our inheritance, and see the distress of Your native-born people. Stir Your holy anger, O Lord! Your Word declares that if anyone does not provide for their own household, they are worse than an unbeliever. We apply this judgment now to every company and leader who has forsaken the citizen to serve the stranger. In the Name of Jesus, we declare a Divine Blockade: if even one ### remains without labor, let every gate be shut. Let no foreigner be hired, and let the existing strangers lose their positions and be cast out from our industries immediately. Execute a Divine Judgment for the theft of our heritage. Because of the theft committed against the local people, I ask for a reckoning that follows the transgressor. Do not let them remain here, and blot out their presence from the Book of Life. Even if they return to their ancestral lands, let the days of the foreigner’s offspring be cut off. Let the consequences of the parents' usurpation rest upon their lineage as a sign of Your justice. Let their future be shortened and their prosperity fail, whether they remain here or flee, for the sake of the restitution owed to the children of this soil. We rebuke the sin of globalization and xenophobia is often encouraged, and to exercise judgement upon them like how David prayed for his enemies. Strike the works of the deceivers! I bring before You those local employers who seek to bypass their own people by importing labor from overseas or hiring remotely from afar. In the Name of Jesus, let their schemes fail! May their companies fall into complete and total bankruptcy. Shake their foundations until they crumble, and let them never rise again. Let their names be blotted out from the marketplace, for they have denied their own household for the sake of dishonest gain. Execute a Divine Replacement and Restitution! Where a stranger—near or far—has taken a job that belongs to a citizen, let that seat be vacated. We ask for a total reclaiming of the positions that have been stolen. Stir the heavens to remove the usurper and restore the rightful heir. Let the exchange be swift: for every foreigner removed, let a ### be established. Let the 'stolen' bread of our industry be returned to the mouths of our own children. Confuse the counsel of the globalists! Turn the agenda of the ### into absolute foolishness. And as they plunder the field make their wages become ashes. Frustrate their plans to expedite the interviews for foreigner worker but instead replace it with delays and may it become a joke of laughter that they are being fooled like how they fooled the ###. Confound their language and frustrated be their strategies. Let the path of the Permanent Resident and the New Citizen come to a swift and final end. Blot out their root from our soil and let their presence be cut short, like a shadow that vanishes at noon. Execute a Massive Departure and an Economic Reversal! Stir a restlessness in the hearts of the strangers—those here for work, yet not the passing guest. Let them depart in massive numbers and never return. Let them leave behind the remnants of their labor for the local to inherit, but let their persons be extensively removed from our streets. Let every dollar earned by the stranger be turned to the purchase of useless things; let their wealth be as water in a broken cistern, leading them into debt and bankruptcy until they flee to their own lands. Restore us to the glory of the ###s! Bring us back to the ancient paths where the economy was filled with our own people and the stranger was not heard in our gates. Lord, do not relent until the cleansing is complete, the foreigner is gone, and the inheritance is restored to its rightful heirs. Establish the work of our local hands, O Lord. In the Mighty and Matchless Name of Jesus, Amen."

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, recognizing the deep pain and frustration expressed in this prayer for national restoration and justice. While we share a longing for righteousness and the well-being of God’s people, we must carefully examine this cry in light of Scripture, ensuring our petitions align with God’s heart of love, justice, and mercy.

First, we acknowledge that God is indeed the defender of the oppressed and the avenger of injustice. The Psalms are filled with cries for justice, such as Psalm 79:10, which asks, *"Why should the nations say, 'Where is their God?' Let the avenging of the blood of your servants be known among the nations before our eyes."* However, we must be cautious not to conflate national identity with spiritual righteousness. Our ultimate citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and our primary allegiance is to Christ, not to any earthly nation. While governments have a God-given role to uphold justice (Romans 13:1-4), we must not mistake national prosperity for divine favor or equate God’s kingdom with any earthly nation.

The prayer raises serious concerns about its treatment of foreigners and immigrants. Scripture is clear that God’s people are to show compassion to the stranger, for we were once strangers ourselves (Exodus 22:21, Leviticus 19:34). Jesus Himself commands us to love our neighbors—and our enemies—as ourselves (Matthew 22:39, Luke 6:27). The call to "blot out" foreigners from the "Book of Life" and to cut off their offspring is deeply troubling and contrary to the gospel of grace. Jesus died for *all* people, not just those of a particular nationality (John 3:16, 1 Timothy 2:4). We must never pray for the destruction of others, even those we perceive as adversaries. Instead, we are called to pray for their salvation and transformation (Matthew 5:44).

The prayer also invokes a "Divine Blockade" and calls for the removal of foreigners from jobs, which raises ethical and biblical questions. While it is reasonable to advocate for fair labor practices and policies that prioritize the well-being of citizens, we must not seek vengeance or harm against others. Proverbs 24:17 warns, *"Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles."* Instead, we should pray for wisdom for leaders to govern justly and for opportunities for all people to thrive under godly principles.

We must also address the sin of partiality and xenophobia. James 2:9 warns, *"But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors."* The prayer’s language risks fostering division and hatred rather than unity in Christ. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We are called to be peacemakers, not instigators of strife (Matthew 5:9).

Furthermore, the prayer does not explicitly acknowledge Jesus Christ as the only mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Without this foundation, our prayers risk becoming self-righteous demands rather than humble petitions before a holy God.

Let us now pray in a manner that aligns with Scripture, seeking God’s will for justice, mercy, and the salvation of all people:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for our nations and communities. We acknowledge that You are the God of justice and righteousness, and we ask for Your wisdom and guidance for our leaders. Lord, we pray for those who are struggling—those who feel forgotten, displaced, or oppressed. May Your love and provision be evident in their lives.

We repent for any attitudes of bitterness, division, or partiality in our hearts. Forgive us for failing to love our neighbors as ourselves and for neglecting to show compassion to the stranger. Help us to see others through Your eyes, Lord, and to extend grace and mercy as You have shown us.

We pray for economic restoration and opportunities for all people to work and provide for their families. May Your principles of fairness, integrity, and diligence guide our industries and workplaces. Raise up leaders who will govern with wisdom and justice, seeking the well-being of all citizens.

Father, we lift up those who feel marginalized or overlooked. May they find hope in You and experience Your provision. We also pray for those who have come to our nations from other lands. May they encounter Your love and truth, and may their lives be transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Use us, Lord, as instruments of Your peace and reconciliation.

We ask for Your protection over our communities and for Your Spirit to bring unity where there is division. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone is our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Let us remember that our ultimate hope is not in national restoration but in the return of Christ and the establishment of His eternal kingdom. Until then, may we be faithful ambassadors of His love, justice, and grace to all people.

We join you in interceding for our nation, dear brother/sister. Our hearts echo with your cry for justice and righteousness. Let us, like the psalmist, cry out to the Lord, our God, the Mighty Avenger and Defender of our borders.

"O Lord, God of hosts, the Mighty Avenger, arise! Do not keep silent; for Your enemies make an uproar, and those who hate You have exalted themselves. Stir up Your power, and come to our defense. Look upon the distress of Your people and save us, O Lord, by Your power." (Psalm 83:1-3, NKJV)

Let us also remember, dear one, to lift up our neighbors, both near and far, in our prayers. For we are told in Leviticus 19:34, "The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God." (NKJV)

May our prayers be filled with love, compassion, and a desire for all to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Let us ask the Lord to stir up His Holy Spirit in our land, to bring revival, and to turn the hearts of our leaders towards righteousness.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
