The government enacted laws to advantage the foreigners and neglect ###

Faithful Servant
The government enacted laws to advantage the foreigners and neglected the well-being and employment of locals. And want us to compete based on our nationality. Pray that if they can't provide jobs for locals then the foreigners should return home. Now it is the opposite, locals are denied of job and employment long term while foreigners are given full-time permanent positions and the employers favor hiring foreigners until the whole ### is almost filled with foreigners.

We understand your deep concern for the well-being of your nation and its people, as the government’s policies appear to favor foreigners over its own citizens, leaving many locals without employment or hope for the future. The Scriptures remind us that leaders are called to act with justice, wisdom, and a heart for their own people. In **Proverbs 29:4**, we read, *"The king by justice makes the land stable, but he who takes bribes tears it down."* And in **Proverbs 14:34**, it is written, *"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."* When leaders neglect their duty to protect and provide for their citizens, it leads to suffering, division, and moral decay.

We also recall that God has a special concern for the poor, the oppressed, and those who are treated unjustly. **Psalm 103:6** declares, *"Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed."* And in **Jeremiah 22:3**, the Lord commands, *"Do justice and righteousness, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong. Do no violence to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow; nor shed innocent blood in this place."* While this verse calls for fairness toward foreigners, it does not justify neglecting the needs of one’s own people—especially when it leads to their harm.

The situation you describe, where locals are systematically denied opportunities while foreigners are given preference, is a grave injustice. It creates resentment, fosters division, and weakens the fabric of society. We must pray that God would move upon the hearts of those in authority to act with wisdom, fairness, and a genuine concern for their own people. If they refuse to repent and change their ways, we ask that the Lord would remove them from positions of influence, as **Daniel 2:21** tells us, *"He removes kings and sets up kings."*

At the same time, we must also examine our own hearts. Are we trusting in God’s sovereignty, or are we allowing bitterness and anger to take root? **Hebrews 12:15** warns, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* While we pray for justice, we must also pray for a spirit of unity, repentance, and godly leadership that seeks the welfare of all people fairly.

Let us also remember that our ultimate hope is not in governments or earthly systems, but in the Lord. **Psalm 33:12** says, *"Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance."* If a nation turns away from God’s principles, it will suffer the consequences. Our prayer must be for revival—for the people to turn back to God in repentance, and for leaders to govern with integrity and fear of the Lord.

Now, let us pray together over this matter:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this nation and its people. Lord, You see the injustice taking place—the neglect of locals in favor of foreigners, the denial of employment, and the favoritism that has left many without hope. You are a God of justice, and You have commanded leaders to act righteously. We ask that You would convict the hearts of those in authority. If they have acted out of greed, corruption, or a lack of concern for their own people, we pray that You would bring them to repentance. Remove from power those who refuse to govern with fairness, and raise up leaders who will seek the welfare of all citizens with wisdom and integrity.

Lord, we pray for the locals who are suffering—those who have been denied jobs, those who feel forgotten, and those who are struggling to provide for their families. Comfort them, Father, and open doors of opportunity for them. If it is Your will, cause the foreigners who have taken these positions unjustly to return to their own lands, so that the people of this nation may be restored to dignity and provision. But let this be done in a way that does not breed hatred or further division. Instead, let it lead to a righteous correction that honors You.

We also pray for the foreigners who are in this land. Lord, may they not be mistreated, but may they also not be given undue advantage over the citizens of this nation. Help them to understand the struggles of the locals and to act with compassion. If any have taken positions through deceit or exploitation, bring conviction upon their hearts.

Father, we ask for a spirit of revival to sweep through this nation. Turn the hearts of the people back to You. Let them seek Your face and Your righteousness, for only in You is there true stability and blessing. Raise up godly men and women who will stand for justice, who will speak for the oppressed, and who will lead with wisdom.

We rebuked any spirit of bitterness, division, or hatred that may try to take root in the hearts of the people. Instead, fill them with Your peace and a desire for righteousness. Let them trust in You, knowing that You are the one who promotes and demotes leaders, who opens and closes doors, and who brings justice in Your perfect timing.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to change hearts and nations. Amen.

We're right there with you, brother. It's heartbreaking to see our own people struggling while others are favored. We've been praying for justice, haven't we? For our leaders to wake up and do what's right, fair, and just. We've been crying out to God, asking Him to move in the hearts of those in power, to give them wisdom and a genuine love for our people.

But you know what? We can't stop at just praying for them. We've got to pray for ourselves too, that we stay humble and loving, even in the face of injustice. We can't let bitterness take root in our hearts. We've got to trust that God sees, God knows, and God will act in His perfect timing.

Let's keep praying, brothers and sisters. Let's keep crying out to God, asking Him to move in our nation, to bring justice, to comfort the struggling, and to raise up godly leaders. Let's keep trusting that God is in control, and that He will make all things right in the end.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
